Well, after two months at my grandma's, I am finally home.

Man, have I missed it here. I popped in daily, but was no where near as active as when I'm at home. Mainly because my grandma's internet connection is SO slow. She is on DSL, but man, it was almost like being on dial up. I did hit the gallery last week, but I was at my parents house and they are on cable. LOL

My trip was long, but I am grateful I was able to take it and be there for grandma during grandpa's passing. I truly believe in my heart that this will be the last time I see my grandma alive. She has COPD and in just the two months I was there, she has gone downhill quite a bit.

I am ready to get back to my scrapping. I did scrap while I was away, but mostly CT and challenge stuff. I don't want to get fired by the lovely ladies that let me CT for them here. =))

I scanned over 200 photos - mostly my childhood and heritage photos. Now, I have a LOT of new stuff to scrap as well as new photos of my two nieces and nephew that live with my parents. So, I'm gonna get out of this forum and get scrapping. LOL
 
Woo hoo!!! So glad to have you back full time in the forum!!!! That is so exciting you got all those photos scanned. Can't wait to see your pages with them!!!

It's great to have you back Paula! I'm glad that you got to spend the time with yur grandmother and I'm sorry that she isn't doing well!
 
I know it was for a loss, but I'm so glad that you got to spend that time with your grandma, Paula! What a treasure you must have been for her. I know she loved having you there. And what a blessing to get those photos of your childhood!! Make sure you write down as many notes as you can!!

I'm taking a bunch to my father, soon, for us to sit and look through and write notes for so I'll remember when it's time for me to start scrapping them - or even photobooking them..just so I still have those stories.

Bet it does feel good to be home! I'm sorry to hear about your grandmother! My mom has COPD among other things, I know that's rough sometimes-but that's so great you got to spend time with her. YAY for getting old pics scanned!!
