I'm highly annoyed

My PSE6 reset itself. I'm having to redo everything. I can't even see the blasted grid on the outside of my images now:cursing:
When I shut this down last night, everything was fine. I am not a happy camper.
 
I don't know about PSE, but in PS once you have your workspace like you like, you can save it. Occasionally my PS does this too, but I can just go up and click on workspace, and mine is called "J's default". It goes back to however I like it!

It's a real life saver!
 
Well I got the grid back on it. Had to read up on it. It's in "view". But for the life of me I can't find a "save workspace as" on here. You can save your workspace in PSP, so it's rather aggrevating to have this happen.
Guess I will keep perusing Adobe for more info. Blasted thing was working just fine. then it started acting like I'd just opened it for the first time. Oh the joys of digital art programs,lol.
 
Brooke, I am pretty sure that PSE doesn't have the save workspace option. I used to use PSE5 and I never found it, but man it is totally a life saver here in PS. I did have that happen to me in PSE more times that I can count.

Do you have a "window" option? Mine is beside "view"

My PS resets every so often..but I have mine saved too..lol lifesaver

I thank everyone for their suggestions and commiserations,lol.
I've pretty much got it reset. I darn near panicked when I couldn't find all my actions. Then I finally clicked the right icon and everything finally showed up.
Actually got a page done (for SaraA's blog page challenge) last night and it's the last thing I posted :p
 
Ack - know I'm late to his tread, so let me get this straight, my PSE 6 is going to go funky on me? It's happened to everyone?

Bad enough you can't do text paths, add custom shapes, or save the workspace... ok- sorry, breathing now, and exhaling the negative energy... think we can get a lobby/special interest group to encourage Adobe to offer a really good deal on upgrading from PSE 6 to PS?

I don't know about 6 but I have had my PSE3 since early 2005 and worked in it everyday and it's never reset on me!!! :thumbup:
