Is this a first trimester thing! If I sit down to long at the computerI actually start to feel nauseated !! I have no clue where its coming from or why its happening but its sucking all the mojo out of my scrapping! I seriously cant stare at photo shop longer then 15 minutes at a time without feeling queasy and I know it probably sounds so stupid but it feels just like some of the food aversions I'm having! Is there any way of getting around it LOL! I cant be out of commision to long, I have lotsa work to do!

change position, use a laptop and lay down with it, or change chairs. This totally happened to me with Phin... that's why there is no scrap pages from me the whole first trimester.

Oh yeah...I remember this...totally normal! Do you have a laptop you can use? Try having a fan blow on you gently might help queasiness too. Otherwise you may just have to do things in 15 min intervals.

Same thing happened with a good friend of mine...she pretty much had to stop until the feeling was gone (2nd trimester), but these ladies have good ideas w/ the laptop, fan, etc. Hope you feel better!

I had that a little bit. I definitely didn't scrap as much the first 12 weeks of my pregnancy for that reason. I'm not sure what it is or what causes it, but it really stinks!! I hope you feel better soon, Sarah!!

Oh yeah, I did find that I could get a little scrapping done then if I brought my laptop in our bedroom and laid on the bed with it.

Thank you girlys, I dont have a laptop :( But im willing to pull the desktop on the bed if need be LOL! I cant see going to long without my photoshop!

I hope you find something that works for you! I couldn't stand to look at my computer in the first trimester and I'm just now starting to open up Photoshop again and I'll start my third trimester next week. Ugh! Definitely not good for the creative outlet.

I had the same exact problem for most of my pregnancy with Kyle, I hardly have any layouts from that time period! I just couldn't hardly sit at the computer for very long, of course at the time I was still working and I had to be on a computer all day long so by the time I came home the last thing I wanted to do was open up PSE & scrap. Hope you're feeling better soon Sarah!

Thank you ladies, I feel bad you all have had to deal with this too but Im glad im not going crazy LOL.

Lucrecia I dont honey. I do need to get my eyes checked though. Lately I noticd I have been struggling to read things farther away.

I remember all too well! In fact, I hardly scrapped during my second pregnancy b/c I couldn't stand to look at Photoshop! It took quite awhile for my feeling of nausea related to PS to go away, too.

So sorry for you - it totally sucks!!

Yes, it definitely happened to me, although not just scrapping... I couldn't stand to use the computer for anything during the first trimester.

I stopped scrapping in January (about a month after I found out I was pregnant) because I just couldn't sit at my computer. My mojo completely disappeared and so did all of my creative juices. I have done two pages since January and am just now working on a page.. my son is a month old today. I hope you don't feel like this as long as I have.. really stinks especially when you want to create a page and you get can't your creative mind around it. Hope you feel better soon.

I had the same thing! My first trimester I was so sick and nauseated that there were days when I didn't even turn my laptop on. I had to let go of all my CT's b/c my mojo was GONE. I didn't scrap a page for nearly 3 months. The same thing happened when I was pregnant with DS...just the though of sitting at the computer made me feel sick.
