I'm freaking out a little...

Shawna, the good thing about Thyroid cancer, if it is, is that it is contained in the thyroid. So removal is the cure. And after the biopsy my neck wassore, felt bruised. But no worse than a bruise. And the surgery was not bad, they let me go home the same day. I could have stayed and milked a night off, but I wanted to go home.
It will be fine. Promise.
 
Lots and lots of P&PT! I'm sorry you're going through this. Hopefully they are just doing everything as a precausionary measure and everything is just fine. My mother had a growth removed from her thyroid gland over 35 years ago and she is just fine (she takes a synthetic thyroid medication). {{{HUGS}}}

(((Hugs!!))) Tabby and I had something similar happen to our mom in 2004. It turned out fine but I remember how scared I was for her!
