So I took Joel's computer to the repair store yesterday {remember, Max dropped it, the screen was blank} and the guy's like, "No problem-lah." {which is like saying, "Easy peasy, no worries} And I'm all like WHEW. I'm gonna get away with Joel never even KNOWING.
Then he goes on to say, "We can fix it. It should take about 2-3 weeks." {Insert stopped heart here}
My husband cannot live without his computer for 2-3 weeks! So you know what that means, right? He will be commandeering MY computer. {sob} We still have my old almost 4 year old Dell, which is missing keys, has to be propped up since the hinges on the monitor came off and sometimes mysteriously gets like possessed. But I've kept it so the boys can watch movies or play the computer.
Only today I go to load it up with some of my stuff, hoping I can utilize it while Joel is borrowing mine, only to find that as soon as I turn it on, it automatically shuts off. It's never done that before.
You picked a fine time to leave me Lucille.
So now I will have to face the wrath of Joel AND be without my computer for the rest of the month. I was *this* close to ordering a new computer and having this group from Montana that is here now bring it out with them, but I decided to wait until we go back to the States this summer. Clearly, I make bad decisions.
I need you guys to really miss me while I'm gone, okay? And I'll try not to be too productive while I'm offline or else he may never let me have my computer back.
