It's been a while since I got the scissors out and did a hybrid project. Even though it's just a little one, I wanted to share, since you guys 'get it' so much better than hubby ;)

I found this little glass jar at the dollar store, and knew instantly what I could use it for. One of our primary kids at church turned 12 this month, and moves up to the Beehive class in the Young Womens Programme. With Traci's Honeybee Mine kit, I decorated the jar and filled it with candy as her farewell gift. I love how it turned out :wub: and almost didn't want to give it away! I definitely see more of these in my future.

 
Great idea and how adorable! I've been saving my Yankee candle jars without knowing what to do with them, but this is so fun!
 
Thanks everyone! I think I'm going to go shopping this week and pick up several more jars to hold in the cupboard. Murphy's Law says the next time I need one, the shop will be out, so I better stock up now.

I've never seen those jars at our dollar store but now I'm tempted to run down there to make sure we don't' have them too! Super great project! I'm sure she will be very touched.
