IG Scrap Challenge!

Hello everyone! I have one more game for you all before the real madness of Christmas begins but this one is just a little bit different than usual. This one is an Instagram challenge!

Your challenge is to create a page documenting someone or something special to you this holiday season -- it can be anything: your favorite recipe, a particular family tradition, a person, place, pet or in my case - a keepsake dear to my heart. When you're finished post your page in the comments AND to Instagram with the hashtag #sweetshoppedesigns or @sweetshoppedesigns so I can feature your beautiful creations! If you don't have an Instagram account now is the time to get one because one lucky person who participates will win a $20 coupon to the store! :thumbup:

here's my page :D The special thing is the book, the recordable "the night before christmas" book given to them by their Godmom who we don't get to see very often.

Quick question--I want to scrap a birthday that's right around Christmas, but I'm leaning toward using a birthday or winter kit instead of a holiday kit. As long as the journaling makes the tie-in obvious, is that okay?

Sure thing! The point is to just have fun and get some memories scrapped! :)
 
I kind of cheated because it's not specific to this holiday but in general all year long. You know me and know the one thing that is special to me (outside of my family and friends) is visiting the local places with each and every duty station. My favorite place here in Colorado is Garden of the Gods. I probably go here a couple times of year. It's so beautiful and peaceful here that I just enjoy it! This was just our most recent overlook visit (last week) on our way home from Glen Eyrie. I love the beauty that is within those photos. If the weather stays nice, we'll be seeing it again this coming week!! <3

 
Instagram only works on a smartphone, right? I think I tried to get an account one time but couldn't manage it because I don't have a smartphone.

I believe most people use IG on their smartphone but I personally also use it on my computer. I purchased an app called Flume Pro (there is a free trial version) and I can do all the posting and viewing, etc from my computer. I absolutely love it and think it was well worth the $10! :D
 
posting on IG in a few minutes. Mine isn't about the holidays per say, more about the winter season.

I just looked for yours and don't see it with the hashtag but if you tag @sweetshoppedesigns I believe it will show up! Ps. Congratulations on such a momentous event! What a perfectly magical place to get engaged! :)
