If You're In The U.S., Check Your Ticketmaster Accounts!

I just scored FREE lawn seats to see Hall & Oates, Brad Paisley, & Rascal Flatts (three separate concerts, not together -- ha ha!) with the three voucher codes in my account.

Kendall posted abt it on FB this morning, thank goodness, and I went to poke around to see if I had some.

Because of that big lawsuit, you might have some, too!

wow, that's nice!! I can't remember my old Ticketmaster account info. And I haven't bought a ticket in years through them. boo!

And check your emails for a notice from Amazon too. I just got an almost $60 credit for Amazon due to a settlement with Apple on e-books.

I had seen this posted on OSMW and tried to recall if I ever bought anything off of Ticketmaster. I'm glad to see someone get something out of it. So far none of my friends haven't gotten anything from the settlement.

My hubby is a BIG ebook reader and he got an Amazon gift card credit for $700!!! Checked and we can use it to purchase anything from Amazon except gift cards and subscriptions.

Wow, lots of free Christmas shopping at Amazon thanks to this lawsuit!:p

yeah, I just got an email from Amazon about my purchases as well. I was on the phone with my mom and saw it. I was quite pleased!!

I didn't have any Ticketmaster vouchers and haven't received and e-mail from Amazon yet, though I have purchased many e-books from them :(

I don't remember the details of the Amazon lawsuit, but IIRC it only involved books from a few of the big name publishers that were purchased before a certain date. I buy lots of ebooks, but since I buy mostly Indies my Amazon refund was less than $25. Could that be why you don't have one?

Also, did you check your junk mail? Since Outlook updated, EVERYTHING has been going to junk mail for me. I've probably told Outlook 25 times already that Amazon's emails are not junk, yet they still keep ending up in my junk mail.

this is the second settlement I've gotten from Amazon. Last time was a couple years back. So this was a nice surprise. You can check your Amazon account too. Mine was automatically in there as a gift card balance.

And wow Sandy, $700! That will be a fun shopping spree!

Yeah, it could be that. I usually only buy Romance/Historical Romance but have some other like Nicholas Sparks books that I have also bought. That is probably why. Thanks! :)

I got one voucher for two tickets but there are 0 qualifying concerts in my area right now. Hope something turns up.

I have 8 vouchers for 2 free tickets in my Ticketmaster account. I was not interested in any of the concerts so I used one for my brother to attend a concert that was an annual one he always went to every year. Also, 3 of the voucher codes gave me errors and the 4th one worked. I read the fine print that there is limited quantities.

As for Amazon, I just started buying e-books so no credit. I believe it has to be from 2010-2012?
