If you're in the market for a printer:

Oh man!!! I'm going to be in the market for a new printer soon, and I don't have the extra $$ right now! Isn't that the way it goes??

I'll show this to DH and see what he has to say. I've wanted to replace my Canon with an Epson since Bree told (and showed) me how good hers was for printing. My Canon was good for about a month, then it started crapping out on me, and now it won't print black by itself! Yikes!
 
I loooooooooooooooooooooooooove my Epson. Love love love. And I love their papers too, so that's awesome :)
 
I couldn't live without my printer and I love my Epson. It always works, always prints beautiful images no matter what I throw at it and mine was cheap :) Also I use compatible ink cartridges that are cheap cheap cheap and it still prints beautifully :thumbup:
 
I've just had to buy a new one over the weekend - it arrived yesterday. I bought a Epson Stylus TX200 (not sure if it is just a model for Australia/New Zealand).
 
I still stand behind my Kodak, I LOVE it and ink is CHEAP!! I'm on the Kodak review panel and they were recently asking us about large format printers.
 
Samara do you have that new(ish) kodak that is really really cheap with ink?

I NEVER print- I"m just too cheap for it. I only print when I absolutely have to.. but then I don't do hybid so. LOL
 
I have an Epson R340 ( I believe). It's 3+ years old, I get TONS of printing out of my ink cartridges, and it prints fantastically. It's a printer only (no scanner or copier or anything) and I think I paid $150 for it. There are 6 carts and it's $12.99 for black, and $14-16.99 for color depending on where I get it.
