if you were at Starbucks

If I was in a Starbucks, I would turn around and go to Caribou and get myself a decaf Vanilla Cooler. Yummy!

When it's cold... tall vanilla mocha

When it's hot... iced grande vanilla mocha

I LOVE the holidays when they have the eggnog lattes and the caramel apple cider. yummy!

Venti mochas are my staple, but I also get a java chip in the afternoons sometimes. Anything with chocolate I'll drink!

Can you believe I've never been to Starbucks?

We have them in the city here, but I am NOT a coffee drinker at all, so it never occured to me to ever go.

That's just all kinds of wrong! Go in there and order one of their blended drinks like the Strawberries & Cream or something. You could always go in for a giant cookie!

I'm a Seattle girl so any other coffee to me is just unamerican. lol I even worked as a Barista over the holidays in 2000. FUNNEST job I ever had and now I know all the secrets. ;)

;) *shhhhhhh* I will share with you my secret recipe. Dh and I came up with this drink and it is so yummy!

Grande Vanilla Bean Creme with Caramel Sauce and 2 shots blended.
(you could say affagato style instead of the 2 shots blended and then the espresso would be floating at the top and you stir it into the frapp yourself. either way is the same tasty result)

*the vanilla bean creme is delish! this is like a caramel frapp but adding the extra sweetness & flavor of the VB. 2 shots is lots of coffee flavor, go with 1 shot if you want less coffee and a much sweeter drink.

my dd's have their own recipe too. Vanilla Bean Creme with Mint syrup. OMG that is so refreshing on hot days! the kids could substitute any flavor syrup also.

I so want one of these!!!!

We had no Starbucks here for years and years and years. If you wanted coffee you went to the diner and asked for a cup to go. No fancy schmacy add ins. Black coffee, with a maximum 2 sugar packets and one creamer. Woe unto you who want a second creamer!

but then last year we got not one but TWO Starbucks, oddly enough right across the road from one another. I get Caramel Macchiatos (or however you spell it)

Oh, you are making me crave my favorite java chip frappucino!

My all-time favorite drink is a Dulce la Leche latte or frappucino, but they're not making them anymore.

What did you end up with?

We have 3 Starbucks and not one of them has a drive-thru?!?!?!? It's not like I don't have 2 kids to get out of the car or anything...

In the summer it's a venti Caramel Frappucino with extra caramel and whip.

In the winter it's a venti White Chocolate Mocha with extra caramel and whip.

Can you tell I like caramel??? :)

I need to try one of the pumpkin spice lattes though. I love pumpkin!!!

Idont know the technical name for it but the slurpee type thing (but coffee flavored) and probably a choc chip cookie just because :)

I don't drink coffee, so probably a big bottle of water...DH can get his mocha frappa iced whatever LOL.

Not a coffee drinker here....amazing how I've managed to last as a grad student this long. LOL But, I love Starbucks' hot chocolate. :) And cider in the winter.

Wow - I didn't realize there were so many flavors/kinds! I just recently tried Starbucks and now, every time we drive by it in the mornings, my 2 year-old DS says "Mommy's coffee". I guess I've been there one too many times. LOL

My fav is the caramel frappucino. But with all these other ideas, I may have to venture off the usual path!

Starbucks and I are on the outs right now because they just discontinued the decaf frappuccinos.

When I'm not pregnant or nursing, my favorite in the winter is a skinny half-caf hazelnut latte with 2 extra pumps of hazelnut. (Skinny means no whip, skim milk, and sugar free syrup. I was so glad when they added "skinny" to the menu so that I could order a drink in under 5 minutes.) In the summer I like the mocha frappuccino lights. When I'm pregnant or nursing I don't do sugar-free or caffeinated, so the drinks I order are much higher in calories and I go a lot less.

Oh, and by us none of the Starbucks have ever had free wi-fi and having a Starbucks card gets you free flavor shots, not free internet access. Luckily Caribou and Saxby's both have yummy coffee with lots of decaf options and free wi-fi.

I would order a 20 oz iced hazelnut latte. In fact, I just made myself one triple strength a little while ago so I could stay awake for church. My Barista machine gets a lot of work. Let's face it, I'm ADDICTED!

on the starbucks site there is a rewards program with internet access and one w/o.

LOL... Am I the only regular coffee gal? I LOVE their Pike's Peak Roast... I just picked up another pound to have at home!

I don't go there too often.

I loved when they had the Blackberry Green Tea Frap's! They probably won't be getting that back again though.

I've always been a fan of the Iced Chai! And I also like Chai Tea Frap's!

I was actually thinking about going tomorrow and trying the new VIVANNO drink - the Chocolate Banana one - although both sound SUPER YUMMY!!!

It's very frustrating here because, while this town has 2 Starbucks, neither of them are easily accessible. In every town in Europe that I've been to with a SB, they're always in the middle of the historic part of town which is always for foot traffic only. SO, there's no parking in front of the store, jumping out and ordering your drink... and DEFINITELY no drive throughs. Prolly for the best though... makes me appreciate them more when I do get one, saves me tons of money and prolly tons... yes tons of extra pounds.

I do have a Starbucks Barista machine at home which I've been using every single day since summer started. When it's cold we just drink Starbucks French Roast from the coffee pot.

I have to Starbucks nearby...
One is a drive through, located in the same plaza as my BJ's
The other is INSIDE my Barnes and Noble....so no matter what Starbucks I'm at, it's totally worth it.
I go to the B&N one more often b/c it's less than a mile from my house...they know me and my order there: Venti Iced White Chocolate Mocha, no whip....sometimes I try the seasonal drinks, but not often.

Probably a Caramel Macchiato. I strayed once and got a Cherry Almond Latte  it was too...something.

I used to drink two SB coffee frappuccinos everyday (the kind you can buy at the store or gas station) but since starting my diet I try and resist them. I  that stuff and would drink a gallon of it daily if I could!

:) Michele
