If you could bring back any tv show..

My first thoughts were Firefly and Babylon 5 because there just isn't enough quality scifi on tv these days. I'd like Enterprise too, if we can disregard the entire second season & pick it up near the end of the third.

Who's Line and MST3K would be awesome. I was so sad when MST ended, it was my late night tv fave

Oh I have a whole list:
Friends
Beverly Hills, 90210
Melrose Place
Party of Five
Ally McBeal
My So Called Life

Friends
Everybody Loves Raymond
Whose Line

Seinfeld was great, but the last season...it sucked. I'd love to see it come back, but not if it was like the last episodes!

I also loved Homefront...ABC series set in the years after WWII, with Kyle Chandler and Tammy Lauren, among others.

What else...I really miss the Bugs Bunny/Road Runner show on Saturday mornings. Not so much for me, but let's face it...most of us grew up with that, and now it's gone.

And finally...'fession time...I USED to watch soaps ALOT (high school/college years). And while I haven't watched them in a long time, I was kind of sad to see Another World go off the air, and I was sad to hear that Guiding Light is being cancelled too...not because I watch it. I guess it's just the loss of another thing from my much younger years LOL.

If you have never watched Arrested Development and you actually have a sense of humor, you should go and buy all three seasons right now. You will not regret it. You will watch it over and over and quote it with your husband. In fact sometimes you will find yourself giggling in public alone because something reminds you of Buster or Gob or forbidden love.

It's so my favorite ever. :(

I saw two in the threads that I would wish for... China Beach and Homefront... Love, LOVED, those shows... I remember CB was on Wed and I had bible classes in the evening and I was always chewing on my nails to get home in time to see the show... LOL!

Here's one that I'm sure no one has heard of since it didn't stay on for long...
Pepper Dennis on the CW like three years ago... stared Rebecca Romijn... anyone heard of it??? I wrote letter after letter asking for it to come back... :(

I'm also upset about loosing Lipstick Jungle, Sunset Beach... and Scrubs... but I think that one is coming back...

Veronica Mars . It was a great show and I still don't feel closure from the ending.

While its not gone yet, I'll cry when LOST is over.

Oh yea Knight Rider would be awesome too. I LOVED that show as a kid. We also watched The Love Boat every Friday (or Saturday maybe) night as a whole family. Cant forget that. Then on Sundays we watched 21 Jumpstreet

It seems to be a favorite but 1 of mine would definately be Friends (just got done watching it too!) I can watch reruns of it all the time and still laugh!!

Friends, Everybody Loves Raymond, Seinfeld, Frasier and the recent one.... The Beast :(.

Whose Line Is It Anyway!!!! Gosh, i love it! It's a game show, but still.. hehehe

Well I still watch Friends and Seinfeld reruns so I'd definitely watch new ones. Would also love to see more episodes of Arrested Development and Veronica Mars. Loved those shows. Oh and I want one more season of Gilmore Girls so they can do an ending that isn't ridiculously lame.

Don't say that!!! I just bought the entire series...only on season 1...hate to hear that it ends lame...acckk! Well I am going to enjoy it. Right now I want to watch it without my teenaged boys around making comments...so I can only watch it and ENJOY it on Thursday nights when they are at bowling with their dad...so at this rate it is going to take me awhile to get through all those DVDs. lol

My utmost favorite of all time...

M*A*S*H ... hated seeing that series end. I have the whole set and we have watched it probably 10 times if not more!!

After M*A*S*H ... never saw it and would really have liked to have seen it...and it's not on DVD

...Amazon has a "sign up to be notified when this series is available"
http://www.amazon.com/After-MASH-Rosalind-Chao/dp/B00005JOBW/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&s=dvd&qid=1247718534&sr=1-1

Gilmore Girls...I'm still on season 1...but something tells me this will hit a close 2nd in my favorites next to M*A*S*H

Home Improvement (have the series)

Original Knight Rider (have the series) ... boys liked the new one just about as well...but it seemed to have disappeared...I liked the older one better...but the new one was ok... and he sure didn't hurt the eyes... ;-)

Gotta agree with you here!! This was a fabulous show!!!

Lynnette and I are on the same TV wavelength: Seinfeld and Arrested Development.

I love this type of humor...and I am a huge fan of Larry David, so I love Curb Your Enthusiasm!

Of everything listed here...these are the only two shows I feel worthy of bringing back...

One that I really enjoyed watching as a kid, but I don't think I could stomach it now, was Hogan's Heroes.

Umm - vote for Allie McBeal and dont hit me but Moonlighting was another fave!!

And someone already mentioned Little house on the prarie - my all time fav show growin up. I even borrowed an episode DVD from my local library to share with my DDs - a bit of nostalgia.

For any Aussies about - I miss Hey Hey Its Saturday - the day and night versions!!!

For the POMs - any british comedy - like Some Mothers Do have Em and Are you Being Served. And I need more Mr Bean pls!!

Never heard of Arrested Development - but Im feelin I need to be educated!

My So Called Life
October Road
What About Brian
Cane
Joan of Arcadia

all of these shows I absolutely loved and they met their demise much too soon...I have them on DVD so that I can continue to watch them :)

I'd love to bring back Star Trek: TNG. I was sooooooooooo sad when it ended. I think I cried.

And I cried the other day when they did a spot for the season finale of Monk. Seriously. Why do the good shows have to die? Why? Why?

I agree about Gilmore Girls and Veronica Mars, and Buffy. And an English show called teachers, which was hilarious even though it wasn't really a comedy.

Oh - and my so called life, that was awsome and should have had more than one season.

Let's see:

Star Trek: NG
Quantum Leap
Dresden Files- was so awesome only one season, so not fair!
West Wing before it sucked
Dukes of Hazzard
What's my Line?- the old old old black and white game show. I love watching reruns on Game Show late at night and they don't show it anymore!

I liked Journeyman, too. I also miss Stargate: Atlantis...Rodney cracked me up--I loved how naturally he did the role. Of course, the last 5 minutes of that season were the cheesiest in the history of television. Such a good series really died a painful death.

Snip 8<...

I forgot about moonlighting....wow that has been a long time since I have seen that. I also liked Night Court...not something I would let the boys watch...but I thought it was funny. I liked Judge Harry.

We have the series of Hogan's Heroes...the boys really like that series too. At least it gave me a break from M*A*S*H 365/year. lol

I just have to second the Homefront and Gilmore Girls!!

I watched Homefront when I was in high school and would love to see it again. and Gilmore Girls even with its kind of lame ending is still my all time favorite show!
