Table cream's not the same thing. I'm guessing you're talking about cream you put in your coffee right?

Heavy cream is really heavy and thicker and it'll whip up into whipped cream really quickly if you whisk it.

I would go out and get heavy cream if that's what it says to use.
 
I used half n half and it turned out yummy!

I'm pretty sure in the reviews someone said she used milk and it still turned out delish.

eta: I have no idea what table cream is.

Maybe try it then? Is it a buttercream recipe? B/c then it doesn't have to whip up like whipped cream anyway. :thumbup:
