Go Gators!!

isn't he awesome?! I was reading some home school legislation the other day and it talked a lot about him. So I looked him up in wiki and wow what a great story! My hubby has been a fan of his talent for a while but I didn't know his personal stuff. Now I'm a fan too! :) Go Tebow! :)

I love him too, he is a great person on and off the field. I have a funny story about him, at the FIU game a few weeks ago I took my 6 yr old daughter for her first Gator game, she was right down where they come back and forth through the tunnel before the game, he came and slapped her hand and she jerked her hand back and said ewwww, he slimmed me, and I told her that it was sweat now slime. lol Tebow turned around and laughted at her. It was cute. :)

I have to say that I do like Tebow! I love his stand for Christ!
But, I also, must say, as loudly as I can, ROOOOOLLLLLLLLLL TIDE ROLL!!!!!!!!!! :p

I <3 Tebow..but I like Alabama better!! Him and Colt McCoy are my fave college QBs haha

I"m a UGA girl though..hehe

I'm in Florida, and I do think he is a super talented man in so many ways. Glad he is an athlete who is also a positive role model.

My brother grad. UF.

I grad. FSU.....(long time ago...but it was co-ed), and then attended USF for grad school. DH (LSU and USF) and DD - USF both degrees.

I like the horns too.
Went to school (FSU) with Mack Brown. We have the same degree. I still teach elementary school. What is wrong with this picture.

All I can say is...this is the best way to lose. There's no doubt that Alabama is the better team tonight. They'd better REPRESENT the SEC in the title game and bring home the championship!!

I love my Gators!! I'm so proud of their season and their 22 straight wins!!

*SOB*....*SOB*...

DH and I are watching the Texas game on the DVR right now! all of our closest friends are Texas die-hard fans (we DO live in Austin, LOL!) and we know we should be rooting for UT...but we aren't!.

GO HUSKERS!!

I get so sick of hearing about Texas. The Big 12 is so lame...(sorry Big 12'ers)...all Texas has to do is win ONE big game each year (usually Oklahoma, this year that game was even a gimme) and yet they usually screw it up.

Right now (where we are in the DVR), Nebraska is up 6-0. I'm sure Texas will win, they are a much better team, but DH and I are enjoying this nonetheless...

(Can you say BITTER?? ha ha!)

I still LOVE MY GATORS! :)

I tell ya...

SUH is insannnnne haha...I love the SUHpacalifragalisticexpialidocious sign in the stands! lol

OK - Seriously?? TX squeaks past Nebraska with ONE second and has a field goal that's good by ONE foot.

And they get to play in the National Championship game??

College football SO needs a playoff system. I'm definitely a conference elitist (SEC, Big 12, Big 10) and don't think Boise, TCU, or Cinci are necessarily more deserving. But I guess we'll never know who REALLY belongs in the big game, will we??

And can I just say how much I LOVE YOU GIRLS for actually chatting with me about college football?? I posted something last year on DST and it was like crickets. No one even responded. I felt like such a loser :p

OUCH!!

I was very disappointed in last night's ugly game, (Nebraska should be very thankful they had Suh.) However.....I my Horns, we're used to all the haters...:p Hook Em'

...I'm so bummed the college season is almost over :crying:

me too :(

I like the NFL too but nothing like like like college fball! ..(my dh knows he's lucky)

last nights game was some what ugly..TX barely won that one lol..I still think the SEC is by far the hardest conference...some of the others are just a joke

See and I'd like to see a playoff system for the exact opposite reason - because it would give the lesser leagues a chance to prove they're just as good as the so-called "elite" leagues. The whole BCS system is based on name recognition so despite being undefeated like Boise State and Hawaii in the past, those teams will never be offered a chance to play in the championship game despite possibly being the best team. Personally I think the big leagues are just scared of being out played by the little guys but whatever. :p A playoff at least would answer that question once and for all.

Not to mention that every year it seems like there's some random team that gets to play in the BCS championship or worse there are three teams that are tied and one team doesn't even get a chance at it. If you're going to crown a champion, there should be no doubt about who belongs in that game.

I agree! I didn't make my point very well...I was trying to say that maybe Texas deserves it, maybe TCU does, maybe Boise or Cinci do. TCU crushed everyone they played this season (granted, much "lesser" teams!)

No team deserves to play their best all season and do the best with the schedule they were given and have "a system" determine that they don't have the potential to win something bigger.

I agree. I really don't know any fans that like the BCS. I've definitely had my teams on the "screwed by the BCS" side. I was happy to see TCU and Cincy end up in the top 5, and even though Boise has that hideous blue field I always root for them too, and they're right up there. Mid-season I was thinking it wasn't a very exciting year but the last several weeks have been very entertaining...(that's why I love college ball ;) )

My son has gone to Boise State for several years to their summer football camp for high school players. He got to be coached by Boise coaches and play with some of the players. Jacob says their program is really wonderful.

We live in Oregon and it's always been our frustration to have the nation think that the Pac10 is just USC. It was great to see both Oregon State and University of Oregon play for the right to go to the Rose Bowl. Although we are bummed to have Oregon State lose, we are excited that University of Oregon will represent the Pac10. :)

Exactly. And what's worse is there's no way for teams in "easier" leagues to even increase their strength of schedule because the bigger teams aren't even willing to play them because it's too much a of a gamble. They just don't get anything out of playing them.

I totally agree with you on that. I always felt like people just preferred to pretend USC wasn't even part of the Pac-10 since a championship team couldn't possible come from that league. ;) Funny because the rankings that came out today have 4 Pac-10 teams in the top 25 and last I checked USC wasn't one of those teams. (So sad for the University of Spoiled Children :p :D)
