I wish....

I do too! I tag mine with # of photo spots but I still end up with struggles b/c I also consider journaling card places as possible photo spots so my templates always have multiple photo spot tags anyways!

I tried to do this in Lightroom, but it's not foolproof. Most of the time I end up adding/deleting photos/journaling spots anyhow!

I would love that too!
I tag mine too single#spots or double#spots depending on what kind of template it is.

That would be so helpful!

I also do what Cassie does, and consider Journal cards possible photo spaces, or even vice versa photo spaces can be journal cards!

I tried organizing my templates this way once on my EHD, but I didn't want to split them up, so if one download had different number of photos, it didn't work!

You should design a program for us Tracey! ;)

oh yes! That would be wonderful! I also rename the templates I buy and add the number of photos it can hold at the end.

I have a folder where I sort the previews by number of photo spots. That way I can list each one as many times as I want!

I sort mine by photo spots. Soooo much easier.

I've done that too. A folder for each number of photos (up to 4+) and I have a folder for block style templates.

I wish the STORE could sort by number of photos sometimes!

I copy the previews into a "Template Previews" folder. I rename those previews with the number of photos before the file name (so they're in order). If one "counts" for more than one, I just make a second copy and name it accordingly. If a template has 4 photo spots and a journaling card/optional 5th photo (or if the preview has multiple templates), I'll put it in once named "04 original file name" and "05 original file name".

I try to organize mine into folders by the number of pictures in the template, for ex 1 -2 , 3-4, 5-6, and so on.

I also have folders set up by photo number... it is a blessing! I also have folders broken down for themed ones for Cindy's templates, large photos, template albums, backgrounds (Erica's), yearbook style (pocket pages)...

I would love this too. I just have to visually look each time because I've never tagged anything ever.

I use ACDSee to organize. I tag all my templates with number of photo spots, and also tag the designer name. If it's a themed template, I will also tag the theme. I also use folders to organize my supplies. I have a folder for each designer and then create sub folders for the kits or templates under that.

I don't know how to tag, but I put mine in individual folders "1 photo" all the way up to "6+ Photos". I have "Brag Book" folders, "Letter Templates" folders and more.

Of course I ONLY do this for non-ssd designers that I pick up in digiland.

Amen. Somebody please come do this for me. I can't bear the thought of organizing them now. Maybe I should just start now with new purchases from this point forward.

I used to tag and then decided I would rather be scrapping ... now I organize my templates into folders by number of photo spots (1-10+), I love it! Themed templates get put into the theme folder that also includes kits for that theme. I spend way less time looking for stuff now and more time scrapping <3

I do sort my templates by the number of photo spots...I don't count jc (cause I almost never use them)...I hope this makes sense
