to decide on my new TV that I will buy when my floors are finished and I left with a new laptop. lol Its nothing fancy, but it was a good deal and I was wanting one anyway. Except I cannot figure out this Windows 8 stuff. I'm thinking its gonna take a bit.
 
Yay for getting a new laptop!!! I'm scared of Windows 8...one of the reasons I bought a laptop last year before it came installed. :) Good luck figuring it all out!

And ugh to Windows 8 :thumbdown: I played with it and promptly removed it and installed Ubuntu on my laptop. I'm not a fan of Windows since Vista came out. But enjoy the new laptop! :thumbup:
 
I put in a disc to download a program and it switched to something looking more like I am used to. As long as it stays this way I am good, but when I go back to that weird stuff again, I'll be lost.

I've been wanting to see Windows 8 after all I've heard about it. I don't even care for Windows 7 much (I'm still using Vista by choice as 7 came with my machine and I had DH format and install Vista for me), but I am super curious about 8 given everything that has been said. I doubt I'd like it, but that doesn't stop me from wanting to see it... you know, in true train wreck fashion. ;)
