i decided to redecorate my daughters extremely tiny bedroom today!

i let her choose the colour scheme, needless to say its going to be...... pink

very pink! candyfloss pink, she even mixed her own shade of pink paint to go with the very pink wallpaper she had chosen.

i will get some shots of it in progress!

im all sandy have just sanded the wall down, im off back up now to tape off the skirting boards and light fitting

Sounds fun! We let the girls choose the colors for their playroom. 2 walls are purple and 2 walls are Barbie pink! It's actually pretty cute... I'm sure your room will be too.

hahaha! when we first moved in here, i let Chloe pick out her paint. She picked pink too-bright Pepto Bismol pink! with dark purple carpet lmao! course, now, i've moved her into Emma's room to share, and her pink room is now the playroom for now; later we'll move the playroom and redo the pink room for Aidan.

i think it makes little kids feel grown up and special when we let them make their own decisions like that!

definately lilac now, and definately didnt buy enough of the stuff!

the wall paper for the bed wall is pink with hearts on it it will go right? oh im worried now!

As far as I'm concerned you can never have TOO much pink! I'm obsessed with pink! You should mix some glitter in the paint and make one wall all sparkly. I saw that on a decorating show once!!!

Can I move in with you? :)

Pink and lilac should look fine together. If you're worried, just buy (or scrap) some wall art or other accessories that include both colors to tie them together.

I'm sure it will look fine once you get the wallpaper up. :) Also it will dry a bit different after you get a couple of coats on the wall.

Personally I love pink too, lol...my office (when it gets done) will be a nice raspberry-ish pink color. :D

ok painting all done - waiting for hunnie to get in so he can paper

i had a brainwave whilst finishing, im going to make her some things using some of kay millars stuff that has all the lilacs and pinks in together see if i can tie it all together. and shes a sucker for anything princessy so i should be onto a winner!

LOL! Pink could be bright... especially in a tiny bedroom. Oh well! As long as your little sweety loves it... you can always close the door, lol!

Can't wait to see pics!

I cant wait to see it finished... I like bright girly rooms!
When elle moves to a toddler bed, I am gong to let her pick out her room decor, and i am a tad scared at what she might pick... LOL!

that dpoesnt look to bright. when my daughter got to do her theme at that age she picked out a pepto bismul pink and a princess minnie-mouse bedding set.
