I should know this, but . . . could use some help

So, my son's baseball coach asked me to share some of my photos of the games with other parents on the team. Since I've only ever sold my photos as a photographer, I don't really know how to share a bunch of photos for free! I want a place where I can upload at a high enough resolution so other people can download them and print them. Can you do that on Flickr? Or anywhere else?

I think you can do highes on flickr

can you not just make a section on your website (i think you have one? lol) like dawnmarchphotography.com/baseball or something for the parents to just get them from there?
 
Yep you can upload them to Flickr as high res photos, and you can specify the sizes you want people to be able to download. I would put them in a "set" and then you can send people the link the full set and they can download the ones they want.
 
Thanks girls! I will try Flickr. Shawna, I could use my site, but it takes a while to make changes to it and I'm not practicing as a photog right now, so I don't necessarily want to direct people there or we end up in awkward discussions of whether I will or won't take their family portraits this year!
 
Sounds like loading them as a set on Flickr might be the easier way to go then! And if you don't want to leave the full res files up forever, then maybe give the parents a deadline to have the ones they want downloaded by and then after that date the files will be pulled.
 
I've been doing this for years. I take photos at every game and then at the end of the season I hand each parent a CD with all the photos from every game on it. It's a huge hit with the parents and the kids. I just buy the cheapest 50 or 100 pack of CDs Staples has and those flexible sleeves. Then they have the CD to take to a place to have photos printed if they want. I'm not sure you being a photographer you'd want to do that but since I'm not a pro it is fine for me.
 
I like using Shutterfly's free sharing sites. I use that with pics of the girls and my family can order prints off of there.
