I ordered my laptop!

I never dreamed I would, but I ordered a Dell. It's pink, and fully loaded LOL. I need it so I can get off the desktop, especially at night, because it really aggravates my shoulder. I'm so excited! I also bought the 3 year warranty, after my last Dell fiasco, I wasn't taking any chances LOL!
 
Ohh Jamie, now your pink Dell can hang out with Libby's pink Dell!

Like Shannon said, our laptops can be BFFs. Mine's name is Lucy. You'll need to name yours, too. LOL!

Congrats!!! (and btw, I don't know what kind of shipping time they gave you, but mine came about 2 weeks earlier than they said it would and that was the week between Christmas and New Years.
 
Thanks guys, I hope I never have to use the warranty either. I'm so excited to get something so techie, that's PINK LOL. I ordered myself a wireless mouse too for this computer (also pink), since Katrina thinks I'm living in medieval times with my wired mouse ROFL.
 
My mouse has a cord too. My Dell laptop has Blue Tooth, but do you think I can find a Blue Tooth mouse? I've looked everywhere. Do they even make them? I guess that would be good to know.
 
WOW! Congrats Jamie! I'm soooo jealous! I have the pink dell all loaded up on my wish list but with no job that's not happening anytime soon! Enjoy your new baby when you get it!
 
Woohoo congrats Jamie! I'm so jealous, I have my new desktop all picked out but unfortunately I can't order it til after May 9th when we get our tax rebate. So it is taking forever for May to get here!

Yea they make them. You can get them all over the place. Where have you been looking?

I actually just ordered one with my HP laptop, only to get it all and try and install it and realize that I missed one button on my order and don't have bluetooth, lol. So I'm sending it back.
 
sweet Jamie!!! I wanted the pink one too, but since I have to share with hubby, he made me pick a color we both agreed on (ok, I wanted pink or the green one, but whatever) - we have the midnight blue laptop & cordless mouse to match.
Now if your Dell order comes likes mine did, you will get the laptop, and then have to wait a week for your mouse, cause they don't know how to ship them together. lol I think the laptop came out of Ontario and my mouse came out of BC (Lower Mainland).
 
how exciting! :thumbup: I wanted a colored one when I bought mine last summer but got a better deal on an HP :-(
 
I wish they would have had the color options when I got mine but nooooooooooo.....I was looking at skins the other day but decided that was kinda dumb too. I am just surprised my kids have not put stickers all over it yet, they do everything else :p. Congrats on your new baby, have a blast with it.

Hmmm.... Ethel is a good name. So it can be best friends with my Lucy. LOLOLOL! I crack me up.

(and btw, my pink wireless mouse? I named her Kitty. Yes, I'm THAT strange).

That's how I feel about names anyway. Nothing should be named until you meet it and get to know it. (My husband and I name most things... yup, a lot of people think we're weird. :p )
 
I am LOLing b/c Jamie is getting a DELL.

I see all the cool scrappers are going to have pink laptops with names.

I agree with Joan though, you will know the name when you see it.
 
LOL Mimi, I KNOW! I don't know if I was overcome with something last night to make that decision LOL. I spoke to my dad about it today (die hard Toshiba user, former Lemon Dell owner) and he was appalled LOL. I hope he can forgive me LOL.

Wow, Jamie you lucky thing, the one I am getting is plain, boring old black, if you can imagine, but since it is next to free, who am I to complain. Have fun with your pink stuff
