but I'm SOO glad DH went back to work today! :p I mean I love him and I'm so glad he's home, but it's been almost a month and he's been here every day and it's just time for him to go back to work lol...it's really been like having a third child thrown into the mix and so I'm hoping today I can get my house back the way I like it without a million interruptions and maybe even sit down and scrap at some point :)

LOL I get that way with DH when he's laid off in the summer. They seriously are like throwing another kid into the mix! You gotta love them though!

I know exactly what you mean! My DH is a teacher so he's been home for 2 weeks now. In theory it sounds great to have another adult around, but in reality he just messes up the good schedule I've got going for myself and the kids. LOL

Never mind 2 weeks - I sometimes feel that way after the weekend. How can one person make soooo much mess, and they haven't the excuse of being 6!

Well, it's just hard you know..after him being gone for 13 months for us to all of a sudden be together 24/7. We've definitely had our good and bad moments over the past few weeks lol.

Amen to this!!!!!!!!!!!!! That first day is always blissful and then days 2 and 3 hit and you are like...man you are on my last nerve.

This is why I look forward to Matt's 48 hour shifts every week... :) Then he's home for 96 to help the kids destroy the house again.

I left with a clean house yesterday and came home to a sink full of dishes, the oldest's clothes on the living room floor, a messy bathroom and a water box (the ones the 24 bottles come in) right in the middle of the hall... GO FIGURE.

This is pretty much our house, only DH has been home for about 3 weeks now! I know he's not looking forward to early August when he has to report back to his school but I sure am lol!!

I secretly think it is the military's way of tormenting us. First you take him away for however long and then.....you stick him smack in the middle of it. It would be a much smoother transition if they returned from their deployment, had 3 days off, went back to work and then like 3 months later got a month off. Sigh. Why doesn't the military think like me????? :p

Yes imagine DH being home every single day... we work from home. We've been doing this a YEAR (and will be doing it for the next 4 years). Yup. My house is a way bigger mess now that he works from home. It really is like having another child. lol

hahahah yeah I totally feel you! Sometimes I think we all need a break from our husbands. Congrats on getting him back to work. LOL

My husband worked from home for a year before being forced to take this traveling job.

I liked it much better with him here. :p

Mine's not military but yes! He's home when it rains. and he drives me batty. It's totally like having a 3rd child.

I felt that way for 5 weeks during January through March while my mom was at home 24/7 after being made redundant. Needless to say I was very happy to be working part time then going to school full time. The worst part was when I was only away from the house Friday/Saturday nights.
