I never felt so scared in my life...

This morning I fell on my hands and tummy. I was in full panic. I was at work but called my ob. She said to come over. She did a check up and ultrasound and everything is ok with the baby and my placenta and stuff.

After that I was more relaxed again, however still a little shaky. Eric was really calm untill he heard everything was fine. He almost fainted. But is good now also.

I need to stay home the rest of the day and keep calm. But I feel lucky thats for sure!

Oh Leontine! That must have been terrifying. I'm glad your OB got you to come in and get fully checked out. You take it easy now OK?

Whoa! I would've been scared too! Pointless question, but how did you fall? I'm glad everything is ok!

I am not sure anymore. I was excited about something, "jumped" up from my chair and walked/ran into my bosses room. But I tripped over my own feet. I tried to stay up but my balance is just gone. I think I fell on my hands first but my belly touched the ground. I immediately sat down on my but so my belly was free again....and then the screaming started. I really felt so frightenend at the time.

As soon I as heard my baby's heartbeat again I cried like a baby. My hubby was soooo calm, as I know him, but after everything was fine he suddenly had his face all white. The tension just came out right that moment.

I am doing fine at the moment. I rest a lot today....but my tummy feels weird though....like mustle pain. I am just so happy everything is fine.

When I was about 7 months pregnant with Kennedy, it was full winter here. I of course was impatient and decided that the walkways around our house needed shoveled so I went out and did it myself. *bad idea* The shoveling went fine but when I was coming back into my backyard I slid on some ice and went down on my hands and knees. Thankfully my brother happened to be outside leaving for school and came and helped me up, but I was absolutely terrified!
So I kinda know how scary that can be.
Thankfully your OB got you in and gave you some peace of mind knowing that everything is ok.

Just be careful and enjoy the pregnancy. Glad to hear that everything is ok!

Oh gosh!!! I'm so glad everything is ok... hope you get some good rest today!!!!

When I was pregnant with my first, I tripped and fell on the sidewalk and was terrified too, I remember that feeling all too well... I was out of town so my OB just had me do kick counts... it felt like an eternity wait for her to move, but I remember being sooooo relieved after that first movement.

Oh, that's scary!! I'm glad you're ok! I'm one who fell while pregnant, too. Not on my belly, thank goodness, but I fell down a flight of stairs outside our 2nd story apt. - it was icy out and I didn't realize. So so glad to hear you're ok!

Scary!! I fell at a store (water on the ground...) when I was 8 months pregnant. I didn't fall on my belly luckily... but it was still scary. Actually, the employees were more scared and I had to fill out all this paperwork. I'm glad everything is okay!

i was 8 months and tripped and fell on a sidewalk. it was scary. i'm so glad everything is ok and what a great ob you have!

I fell on my butt on our boat when I was about 5-6 months preggo. It is very scary to fall when you're pregnant; all the "what-ifs" keep running through your mind. Glad you and baby are okay.

Oh my goodness! I am SO glad to hear everything is ok with you & the baby.

...and look at what a good mama you are already!!! ;) How much you naturally feared for his safety and want to protect your baby and make sure he is OK. It's so cool to see that motherly instinct kick in. Just wait until you see his precious face the first time. It's like nothing else in this whole world.
