I need some suggestions!

It might just be time to tell Ce that you've got enough animals for the time being. I mean, you have only had Yoda for a month! ;)

lol it would be a while before we'd get another one, cause I'm anal about preparing myself... and we only have two pets :p ^_^

btw... for future reference.. goats, life expectancy 15 yrs. ahaha too bad I Can't have a goat.

I had a goat once, her name was Heidi - she was a nanny goat that was caramel color and she had big floppy ears. My grandpa built her a house out of old wooden doors and we had her for years until finally we donated her to the Los Angeles Zoo where she lived in their petting zoo for a long time.

A friend of mine at church has a goat she's trying to get rid of! He's adorable! And his name is Mow! lol

don't guinea pigs bite? or am I thinking of something else.. I think my friend had one growing up and I remember it being big and mean ^_^

So a painted turtle laid eggs in our yard, Michael says to come up and get them and incubate them in your lizard tank and then you'll have turtles too! :)

Only thing I can suggest which is super cute and not so messy is a bunny. They get along pretty well with cats at least mine did and they have a relatively long lifespan caompared to say a hamster. I had one for a few years at least and have heard of people who had rabbits for twenty years. Another animal which I love is guinea pigs. They are sweet, expressive and cuddly. They have a longer lifespan then hamster/gerbils/mice and are not as likely to bite.

guinea pigs are PRECIOUS! if you were gonna get another they would be the perfect pet. they are totally timid and sweet and smart. birds make me wanna puke and hamsters would be the only other rodent i would get (ugh to gerbils, mice, etc) and they are pretty lame, imo. i mean they are sweet and super cute but i mean you can't really do anything with em.

You have one more pet than we have...and we have a house and a yard. We have a dog and that is all.

My parents had Love Birds...they argued all day long. Dad had to put a cover on the cage in order to get them to shut up. Plus they were very messy.

I think 2 pets for 1 kid is enough. We have 3 kids and 1 pet. ;-) I'm on your side. Besides if you and Ce decide to go out of town sometime...you have to pay someone to watch your pets. blech

lol oh gosh, we always had 90000 animals growing up ^_^ yoda is mine anyway- until ce cleans out some poo or feeds a cricket, mine haha.
Thanks girlies. .you were.. .sort of? helpful lmao. you all said different things. I dunno.. it could be like 2 yrs before I decide if I want another pet in the house or not LOL. I did learn however.. to keep all my animals away from debster... you drowned your bunny?!?! lol

Ewww we had 2 guinea pigs about a year before we had Libby and they were GROSS!! I know a lot of people love them and I really thought I could too....they smelled awful...we cleaned their cages all the time and their poopie/pee still smelled to high heaven. Plus they were noisy as all get out. Oh my gosh were they noisy...and always at 5 am on the nose. I think they must not have liked us, lol!! They were cute though...and I was particularly fond of their names...Simon and Garfunkel. I remember how Garfunkel always tried to get it on with Simon...Simon always got mad. *sigh* Never again!! lol

Maybe a rabbit? I've never had one of those, but they're cute, right?

my guinea pig doesnt stink. I honestly do not notice a smell at all. I clean its cage about once a week to every 10 days or so completely and add fresh bedding every few days. They are very vocal and talkative like mine talks everytime I take its water bottle to fill it or when I have not filled his food bowl and he is hungry he will talk to me. Makes all kinds of sounds from squeals to a purring sound when he is very happy. I love him alot and think guinea pigs make awesome pets!!! I gave mine an old plastic pretzel gallon sized container to hide in and sleep in and he loves it. He also has a little "home" I made from two bins use for storage in the fridge

just my opinion but it sounds like ce wants a pet that he can really interact with. And hamsters, gerbils, etc aren't going to be super interactive. I'm fighting this battle right now too. Logan just begs for a pet and I considered the smaller pets quite a bit because he claims that he'd be happy with any of them....yeah, right. I know that his vision of him and a turtle or hamster 'playing' together is not based in reality though. LOL The only thing that will really be like Logan wants is a dog. And we aren't getting a dog right now. (I'm sad over that decision too, but we need to wait financially.) So my advice is to stay strong and just wait until it's the right moment to get the dog that ce really does want.
