I need some photo ideas

Currently all I seem to be doing is taking pictures of my Grandma's dog but I want to take more but I'm short of ideas

I live at home with my grandmother, go to school (but don't take a lot of pic's unless it is a social event) and don't do many interesting things

Do you have any ideas as to where I could find some more photo oppertunities.

What about flowers in the garden? Fruits and veggies? Baking treats?

How about taking pictures of your favorites? For example, favorite book, snack, quiet spot, flower,ect. Then you would have some attachment to it and it would inspire a page?

I always love the list layouts......goals, favorites, ect. Maybe you can do some pages like that with some of these type of photos.

How about:

• Childhood memories-favorite toys, former homes and schools, anything you collected as a child and still have, awards you won, places you went
• Changing seasons
• Everyday activities-where do you go for walks, what can you see from your window, where do you shop, your favorite places to do school work
• Signs of the times-Price of gas, current movies listed on a marquis, newspaper headlines
• Heritage items-things your grandmother has that are important to her or belonged to her parents

I recently picked up a used copy of Ali Edward's "Life Artist." While her style of scrapbooking isn't my style at all (which is why I shop at Sweet Shoppe) I love this book because she really emphasizes that it is okay to scrap the ordinary, even seemingly boring, parts of our lives. She also talks about living life first, then scrapping, and not worrying about making each page perfect. Wise thoughts!

I agree with the walks...view your hometown as a tourist would...pics of everyday life mean a lot to genealogists and historians...they paint a picture of what things were really like
