I need some inspiration

I'm at a loss with scrapping right now so can you please share some ideas for scrapping everyday things for a single gal in her mid 20's (hard to believe i'm saying mid now). I don't work, drive, go out much but am involved a bit in church and mostly nursing school. I know I want to document my schooling some how but not sure how. Any particular layouts, kits, galleries that you see would fit me would be appreciated.

If you want to document your nursing studies try the "medical" kits that are in the store right now. Break it down into what you are learning and how it is shaping the way you look at your own health and preparing you to help others with theirs. I am a big journaler and I talk a lot, so I could come up with a number or layouts about school and helping people. Also, scrap about your goals and the things that you do enjoy, your relationship with God and those around you. Scrap about your favorite book or tv show. Scrap about what makes you unique. Finally scrap about your family history. Hope those ideas help. :)

Thank you - part of my problem is I don't have very many photos of my life since I only have a phone camera or my bridge p&s which might as well be a DSLR considering the weight of it

You can do a lot of great pages without photos or just one small photo. Have you ever tried the challenge portfolio? It really inspires and motivates me. :)

I have done it prior to the new pinterest portfolio but with school it is hard to get up to the level I would need for it to be worth it with exchange rates

Lynnette does a lot of goals and favorites LOs. You could check out her gallery then adapt the idea so it fits school, too, like doing your favorite classes from the semester or your favorite moments from any hands-on training activities you do. You could pair those with a photo of a stack of your books with the titles visible or with a photo of a hospital you trained at.

those are some awesome ideas - thanks!

I don't have kids and had a long distance relationship for a good while. And yet I always have more layout ideas, than time. Holidays, places you'd like to see, family dinners, favourite books, movies, an outfit you always keep coming back to...the list is endless.
I agree, that Lynnette really is an excellent example of scrapping about the little things, that make up everyone's unique story.

As for the photos. I got a lot better bringing my camera with me after doing P365 in 2010. And you might like this article by Heather Hess about photoless layouts:

i love, love, love to do photoless layouts. i like to talk (i know, you're all surprised) and sometimes i don't have pictures to go with what i want to talk about.
here's some examples of some that i've done recently.

also just like to document stuff that happens in our lives....and well, i'm really bad about taking out my 'big' camera anymore, because i just use my iphone. those pics turn out just as good (if not better than) my p&s ones!

i do lots of layouts about my kids, but i do a lot of layouts about other things too! it's the memories, not what the memories are about!

Check out something like this which is a great resource for documenting your life in lists...

It would be a great way to start brainstorming and gathering information to later put into great layouts all about you!

How about documenting your routines in the morning and night...
what type of shampoo, toothpaste, etc and pictures of the products...
what do you like to eat for breakfast? Has it changed over the years?
Pictures of your textbooks or the outside of the school...
what do you hope to do when you graduate - what is your dream position?
What classes do you like - why do you like them?
Does it all come easy or do you have to study hard?
How do you study - in the library or at home? How do you take notes?
How is life for you different today than it was when you were in high school?
What is your apartment like? Favorite items in your living space? Any stories behind how you obtain them?
Where do you like to shop for food items, clothes, or the places you do go out and socialize? How much do the items you typically like to buy cost?

These are somethings I wish I documented when I was in my 20's... :)

I scrap a lot about the way I am feeling. Its a great way to get the depressed feelings out which often makes you feel better. Or I scrap about why I am feeling so thankful for something. I tend to bottle feelings up, so this is a great way to get it out there.
