I need some b-day gift ideas for 11 yr old boy!

Can you help a girl out? My son was invited to a b-day party at the last minute and I need to pick something up. We don't know him very well, so I don't have any idea what types of things he's really into. Is a gift card too impersonal?

What about an MP3 player? Doesn't have to be an Ipod - can be an equivalent. Our boys LOVE theirs and use them all the time. We use them for books on tape as well as music, etc.

Money or a gift card. About when my boys turned 11 all they got from their friends was money.

I agree best buy, circuit city, radio shack or even an FYI gift card. Little boys that age usually love electronic gaadgets, movies, music, remote control cars and video games.
