I Need Help - CS4/RAW

I thought that having CS4 would allow me to open Raw CR2 files, but it won't let me. I want to be able to open them right to PS, without having to go through LR.

Do I need specific settings? Am I doing something wrong?

Exactly. You need to download Camera Raw and all will work fine.

I only have CS2 but my camera came with a software that allows me to open and edit them. It also lets me transfer them to photoshop without converting them to JPEG and I can edit them there too.

I just assumed that since CS4 was relatively new, so would ACR.
