I need a favor

I need a HUGE favor. I am on a mad search for a specific blanket that Kennedy has taken an attachment to. I need to buy backups of this blanket. I found it online, but it's out of stock and the closest store to me that it's available in is Columbus. I am going to try and call the store today and see if there is any way they can ship it to a store closer to me. But I figured I would see if anyone here would check the Walmarts in there area for this blanket and I will pay back.

That's the blanket set I'm searching for. Of course Kennedy only likes the pink with tiny dots one and won't even look at any of the others from the set. I've searched, amazon, ebay, carter's site everything and I can't find it.

I would really really appreciate it if you guys could search your stores for it and if you find it I will pay you back if you get it.

Allegedly, the Wally's near me has limited stock. I can try to get out there tonight after dinner.
 
I stopped by on my way home, and the lady working in the department said that they change every season, and they just got new ones in last Monday, so they won't be carrying any of the old ones anymore :( Sorry!! -But it looks like they're cheaper on that site Kristin posted, so you might have to go that way.
 
Sometimes places like Marshall's will have the "old" stuff from Target and Wal-Mart. I know I saw some of my daughter's clothes and blankets there a few months ago. It's worth a look! Good luck! DS just lost his baby blanket, but I think we are more attached to it than he.
 
Hey- that Walmart is 5 minutes from my house! I'll cruise by on the way home from choir tonight and check! Cross your fingers!

None of the ones in my town carry them either. I know what you are going through though. My son carries this stuffed dog with him everywhere. He has gone every where with us since he was 2 and he's now 5.5. I tried to buy back ups, but my dad couldn't remember where he bought it, but he thought maybe a zoo in San Francisco, we live in Fargo, ND. lol I have been terrified of losing that thing or having it fall apart or something. Its looking sad.
 
None in my area but good luck! My daughters' blankets came as a gift from Pottery Barn and Pottery Barn has stocked them off and on over the last 8 years. (Yes, they are 8 and still have a blankie!) We have tried substituting new ones for their completely destroyed, colorless, stinky blankies but its never worked. She might not go for the switch anyways!
 
I've had the same blankie, yes I am 26 with a baby and still sleep with a blankie, since I was like 6 months old. My mom bought a back up and it's currently in my grandmother's attic, I have the original. It's beaten, battered and bruised with holes and the edging is completely gone.
 
No luck here in Maine. My local store doesn't carry the blankets, and the store about 40 miles from here that does carry them is out of stock. Good luck with your search!
 
Grrrr... The Bethel Walmart is a big fat liar! No Bloom Blankets to be found :( I searched the store with my zip code again and noticed that the stock was current as of April 8th! 12 days ago?

I'll try back this weekend for one more look with fresh eyes- so bummed I couldn't find them

Thank you for looking Kim. It's no big deal. I emailed Carter's about it. I'm going to search a few stores, Marshall's, TJ Maxx, Burlington, Once Upon a Child and see if I might be able to find them there.

The shipping for that website is $7.50 for my area, so it's like $13 total to order the blankets from them. If I can't find the blankets anywhere else, then I will be going to that site and buying it from there.

oh is it a Carter's blanket? I live near a Carter's outlet. Once I feel healthy enough to leave the house (we've been sooo sick) I could check there.

It's by Carter's but it's for Walmart, it's called Child of Mine which is Carter's exclusive brand for Walmart.

I thought about trying the Outlet since there is one close by. But that could get me into trouble since I have a SERIOUS Carter's clothes addiction for babies lol.
 
If you can't find one, and you're really desperate for a suitable back up, maybe take the one she likes into a fabric store & see if you can find a similar flannel fabric?? All you really need to do to them, is sew around the edge so it doesn't fray.

None at our local WM's either.

That would be plan C if I can't find anything close lol. Actually that was one of my first thoughts but that turned into plan C after I found that site and thought about the other stores.
