so i haven't created a layout since September!!!! :(

I quit all ct teams, and I don't have kits.... so I just have NO motivation.

Ahh one day Ill create again :p

I did throw my name in that long list of La guest for December tho...

anyone else go through this when the have a baby???

I didn't have time to scrap my own pages WHILE I was designing and selling, I felt the same way. When I quit selling I was free to spend all my time making pages and just having fun. It was great. I didn't start scrapping till after I had both kids, so I don't quite know how that part feels. But don't give up because you've got some awesome moments and memories to capture!!!!!!! Get to work! ;)

I never fully quit after my babies were born but I always sloooooowed waaaay down and only did the barest of bare minumums!!! It always took me like 3 to 4 months to get back up to full steam and sometimes longer!!!!

Yes... and even now. My kids are 5 and 7 but I teach special needs preschoolers all day as well, so some days, by the time I get the computer out, I run out of mojo too. Hang in there!

I remember having no mojo AT ALL when I was pregnant with DD. But once she was born, I took advantage of all of the time nursing to scrap! :)

I know how you feel (well, minus the having a baby part LOL). Last year, I quit all my CTs and went back and finished my Master's. When that was finished, I had NO motivation or mojo to do anything. That's when I scoured the net reading all I could about shadowing, and playing around with my shadows. I started doing a few pages here and there, and the motivation and mojo came back.

when i was pregnant with Madelyn I went to just about no scrapping. after she was about 6 wks old i got back into it...majorly. you'll feel up to it!

Well after that big uproar in my life at Christmas last year, it took me until just this month (November) to get scrapping again. I wanted to, so badly, but I just couldn't bring myself to do it. Maybe because that's what I was doing when everything hit the fan.

Now things are more than back on track and I didn't want to put it off any longer.

Don't worry - it'll come back to you. Sometimes you have to force it a little, but look at that precious new babe of yours and think about how beautiful that first LO will be!! :)

When I had DS2 I stopped scrapping for about 6 months. I made sure to take photos and record milestones and memories, but I probably scrapped less than 10 pages that entire time. I was just more interested in my parenting websites and in sewing baby carriers. I couldn't get motivated to scrap. Then there was another 6 months where I wanted to scrap and kept sitting down to do it, but I had no mojo at all. Every page took forever and I disliked most of them. Finally, shortly before his 1st birthday I started loving scrapping again. I was expecting it to happen with my 3rd child, too, and I was so surprised when it didn't. With my 3rd I bought a KCB kit from the hospital because I wanted to start scrapping her immediately, LOL. Don't worry about it too much. As long as you're taking photos and recording the things you'll want to include on your pages it'll happen eventually.

I was a paper scrapper when both my kids were born, which made it even harder to consider working up the energy to dig out all that paper stuff! But I was home on maternity leave so I did my best to scrap two pages a month.

Have you looked at gooshy baby kits?? maybe that will inspire you! You should have lots of sweet little pics, right?

Ive been taking photos like crazy!! Im doing the same where im chatting on mom site and doing anything thats easy on an iphone while she rests. My computer crashed and now im stuck with a 7 yr old song!! Now sony is fab… but i quarantee it would crash on a serious page. I need a new computer!!!
