I made the best soup last night

Chicken Tortilla Soup I doubled it, used only broth (cut by @ 1/2 C), and put raw chicken in and shredded after a few hours. YUMMY! DH said I could make it again! :thumbup: Wanted to share just in case some of you wanted a yummy soup recipe!

Couldn't be any easier - open and dump and let it cook! LOVE my slow cooker!
 
ooh thank you for the recipe! I've been looking for a good recipe for Chicken Tortilla soup for ages ... I fell in love with it at Chili's and have never been able to duplicate it!
 
That is very similar to my recipe but I also use a can of black beans in it!

Oh and I use MUCH more cilantro. Like a half a bunch.
 
I love chicken tortilla soup..we have it a lot hahha

I like serving it with brown rice in the bottom of the bowl and I put like sour cream on top sometimes..yummmo
 
YUM!!! That sounds delish!!! I'll have to try it this weekend!

I've always made the Pampered Chef recipe but I'll definitely give this one a try! :)
 
I LOOOOOOOOOOOOVE Tortilla soup! It's one soup I can get my husband to eat (I leave out the chiles and corn and add them after I've served his and put another serving aside for leftovers for him). I might need to make some for t his weekend!
 
That's one of my fav's! I make it ALL the time. I don't put tortillas in it, and then I freeze it for later. We eat it with Doritos.
 
Sounds yummy! I have a super simple recipe for Tortilla soup that we like, but we may have to try this one some time!
