I made cute bookmarks :)

I'll show you the actual finished projects once I'm done laminating them...plan on hole punching the top and threading some ribbon through the hole. But here are the digital files of the bookmarks I just picked up from the photo lab...They are 2" x 5.5". I printed them on 4x6 paper so only like 19 cents each! (not counting the laminating paper I bought and the ribbon)

They are for David's birthday...he's one of the few people I know that even use bookmarks. I dog-ear. ;)

GASP!!
You - you... BOOK ABUSER!!!
**makes mental note to never loan book to Lena**

Those are frickin' adorable, I might have to steal your idea!

On my first hybrid note, I decided since I'm one of those gift bag keepers, even when they're banged up, so I took off the ribbons and tags and tossed the bags and used the ribbons that were handles and tags on the chipboard album I made for the event I got them from. Like Yorick's baby shower and we got a lot of gifts for Phin when we went down last weekend... I was so glad I could free up some space, but still keep something from the gift. <3

Lena those are adorable.. I love the last one. Bwahahaha.

I'm a dog-earer too, but don't tell Bryn.

No way on dog earing! That drives me crazy. I just close the book and hope I can remember where I am, lol. But only if I can't find a subscritption pull out from one of the magazines around the house to use as a bookmark.

Lena, those are ADORABLE! I love htem! So cute :)

Ohh these are adorable...

But even when Bryn may kill me I'm a dog earer too ( I have tons of bookmarks but never find them when I need them)... Plus my books also have stains of food and coke as I love to read while I'm eating... Mom said that books of a good reader must have the marks of the abuse... LOL

those are cute, Lena!

dog-ear . . . :::shudder, cringe:::

of course, I'm not much better, I will put a book face down while open

i do like Col sometimes, close book and hope I remember where I stopped

I wish you could have heard my gasp when I read that you dog ear! lol I'm just going to pretend I don't know that la la la :)

Those are adorable bookmarks though! :)

Those are too cute! :)

I'm like Col - I'll use whatever scrap of paper I can find that's handy. But they're not nearly as cute as those! ;)

LMAO...sooo cute!! I have something similar coming out in the store this week! :)

AND..OMG, you DOG-EAR BOOKS?! I'm never speaking to you again.

I use to use book marks before kids (had tons) but once those little boogers came along they were always grabbing the books and taking out the book mark and losing my place (omg that is one gigantic run on sentence!!).

Now I use a rubber band, I slip it over one side of the open book and it nestles down in the crease perfectly!!!

Those are simply adorable... Love them!!!

Oh!! I used the rubber band idea the last time I made bookmarks with some templates I just made for bookmarks. I punched a hole in the top and bottom, and threaded some elastic through both, making it like a loop, so the bookmark can be in the book, but the elastic holds it to the book...PM me if you want me to try and explain it more...

These are super adorable ... I think I will have to work off of this idea ... my husband uses book marks all the time. I use whatever I can find ... a receipt, a napkin, a photograph ... and if I can find it ... a bookmark. But, I NEVER dog-ear a page, LOL. :)

OH goodness... This definitely convicts me as a *book abuser* and I need to repent, LOL! Gotta make me some of these! Thanks for sharing Lena!
