I just got a call that she bought me a GC for the shoppe for Christmas, but didn't realize it'd come to me TODAY. LOL So, she said, "Merry Christmas! Feel free to spend it before Christmas!" :thumbup::thumbup::thumbup:

It's funny though b/c I'm so stingy and take forever to decide what to buy when I have a GC. But when it's paypal, I'm all, "i'll take this, and this, and this..." LOL
 
What a generous MIL :) And how thoughtful that she picked something that you love! Merry Christmas and happy spending :)

That is so awesome! For my birthday I am suggesting GCs to here as presents. My stash will never be big enough.
 
Lucky you! I am still trying to get my family to give me a GC to the Shoppe.

BTW, I'm the same way. It would take me a while to figure out what to spend it on despite my wish list that is about 10 pages.
 
ha, ha... isn't too often you see someone say they love their IL... totally expected something different in this thread.... like sarcasm! LOL!!

That is awesome... and awesome that they "get" what you like to do and are willing to give toward that. Mine would look at me blankly since it's not something they can "touch"... :glare:

BTW... same here... re: spending GC money... I always want something that will "last"...
 
I'm the opposite, I buy completely expensive and outrageous stuff I'd never buy myself when I have a GC (see: Wusthof knife). When it's my money I'm like "omg over $10????" lol.
