I so love digital scrapbooking, this is the thought as I go through every photo album and paper scrapbook in the house trying to find the one photo that i know I have!! I find it, and have to very carefully pull it off the page (glad I used Creative Memories and it came right off) so I can scan it and use it again for another page. Now I sit here wishing I had found Digtal long ago before I got knee deep in paper stuff, (my hubby would probably say more like waist deep)

I LOVE DIGTIAL SCRAPBOOKING AND I LOVE THIS SITE AND I AM NOT AFRAID TO ADMIT IT!!!

i love digi too :thumbup: . I've never even paper scrapped and I wouldn't be doing any sort of scrapbooking if not for digi.

Thats what I told myself too when I started digi.... but now its way too much work to get out all my supplies, and I'm not nearly as creative with paper... its too restrictive to me. I have to spend a lot of time thinking about the design (which I am NO good at), and then if I make a mistake when I make a cut, I've wasted a whole paper (which costs $1.00!). So I have pretty much quit paper scrapping now, and am very rarely tempted.

Although, I'm not giving up my paper supplies... I need to have stuff on hand for hybrid projects y'know!
 
I love digi!!!! I haven't paper scrapped in over 2 years! Like other have said it is just too much work to get it all out. With digi I can work on something any time!
 
I was just thinking this the other day Connie!

I'm a total perfectionist, so I could never paper scrap. The hybrid stuff alone is enough to send me into fits. LOL! But I'm so glad that I got into digiscrapping and only wish I had started sooner!
 
The thought of cutting a picture gives me the shivers....:eek: so I LOVE DIGITAL !!! No more paper for me!!!!
 
I only ever scrapped a couple of pages in paper, I just don't have the patience for it. I love digital, and I'm glad I'm doing it. If I had to be doing paper scrapping, I wouldn't have anything pages done.
 
I was just looking through 2 of my paper albums that I have and am trying to reecreate them digitally it is taking some time but I am getting there. I have not paper scrapped in over 3 years (A page or two for gifts but that is it) I still love it but I too am a bit of a perfectionist so it is hard for me to do it now that I am a digi-scrapper and can fix any problem easily!!!!!

I am totally addicted to this site as well and not afraid to admit it either...that is my story and I am sticking to it ;)
 
Oh yeah....I hear ya sista! When I found digi I packed up my paper stuff straight away. I knew I couldn't go back...plus my DH was VERY encouraging. He saw digi as an end to our dining table covered for weeks in scrapping stuff...those little white tabs off the back of photo mounting tabs finding their way into his socks and gosh knows where else (they sure are pesky things), my compulsion to buy 3 or 4 of the same papers in case I ripped something that I didn't really want to rip...anyhoo you know the story :)

I quit paper scrapping when I found digital and I haven't looked back! I can't even get myself to do anything hybrid!
 
I just need to find a better balance between paper and digi. I don't want to ive up paper, but I tend to come home and immediately turn on the computer, lol.

Thankfully I'm loving the hybrid stuff, and I have some albums to complete for friends. So maybe that'll get me back in the paper mood.

If not for digi, I don't think I would have progressed as much. I paper-scrapped (for a while) but the amount of money that I would have to spend makes me cringe and that was why I turned to digi cos at least I could get freebies. But now that I'm working and have my own CC and able to spend a bit on digital supplies, it makes me go Yikes! LOL.. But at least digi supplies are way cheaper than paper supplies..

Anyway, I have this one girl I know over the net that says paper is way better than digi and she would never go for digi. And she said it in a tone that makes me wanna wring her neck. Seriously, I felt really irritated. I have the utmost respect for paper scrappers because it needs serious creativity to make pages and sticking to it, (unlike us who just loves our UNDO button. LOL..) but there is absolutely no need to put down digi. Sheesh!

Oh well, I love digi anyway and whatever people say will never ever make me look back.. :D
 
Welcome to the dark side...lol. Yep I came from paper too and so glad that I found digital. I just don't think I'll ever go back but I still have a closet full of supplies. :)
 
I paper scrapped for 3 years or so before I started digi, and those albums are BUTT ugly, lol. I flunked cutting in Kindegarten. (Literally. I really did!) I can't cut a straight line wtih a trimmer, much less trying to cut anything else and I just had no "vision" for paper. I started combining my love of computer graphics with scrapping back in 2001-2002 when I printed out PC Hugware and other graphics to put in my scrapbooks, and then I thought, hmmmmmm why not eliminate the middle man and just do it ALL on the computer? I searched for computer scrapbooking and my addiction/passion/love was born and I see no signs of that love diminishing or "getting old". I am a digi girl through and through and I love that my kids have so many pages and books to look through! I still have a walk in closet full of the paper stuff but my 10 yo DD uses all that :)
