Thank you, ladies!
His first day was filled with anxiety on his side... I told him many times that his papa and I are coming back to pick him up later, he nodded but he didn't get it, I think.
So, half way of school he kept looking for me, clinging to the teacher and kept calling for his mama. He didn't eat his snack or lunch provided by the school. He went home like a lost spirit and napped a long nap.
The second day, he was happier, more active and paid attention very well, teacher said. He also ate his food.
Today, I got to talk with his western teacher (they have 2 teachers in the class, one Chinese & one western), I asked him how Michael is doing in class. He said Michael is definitely one of the better kids in the class. His vocabulary of English is very good. He is active and well-mannered.
So, I got to go home having a proud-mama moment! I am glad that we did right raising him. It's an accomplishment and satisfaction that I only experience after I have him. Ah... I am a blessed mama...
And next Wednesday is his first field trip with his school. Man... can it slow down a bit?
