But this really upset me today. So if you could just please say a quick prayer for my friend and her dog I'd really appreciate it.

My friends ex boyfriend called her a lil while ago. The ice storm (they're out in OK) took out some power lines at his house. Apparently that caused an appliance inside to explode and set fire to the house. Her dog suffocated and died. The fireman and neighbors tried to get to her but it was too late.

I'm just so upset. Something so random like this could happen to anyone at anytime. I can't help but be stressed worrying my own dog at home in her crate with no way to escape should something go wrong.

::sigh:: I just needed to get that out I guess, and ask for some prayers for them. Thanks for reading.
 
Thanks ladies. I'm a little surprised at how upset I am, but I guess that's how these things go. I'm so heartbroken for my friend.
 
Oh, that makes me so sad. I'm so paranoid about things like this happening to my own animals. It just breaks my heart thinking about any animal or person have that happen to them.
 
Oh my gosh that makes me SO sad. Dogs are so innocent and helpless and give nothing but unconditional love. Poor thing. And a house fire - how devastating. She's definitely in my thoughts and prayers!
