I hurt myself on the stupid ice

3 years in Alaska and 2 months before I leave I fall on the stupid ice. I hurt my butt, and my wrist. I fell hard, both feet off the ground. So now, I'm laying down watching my recording of the ACM's from last night. I can't even bend over, it hurts to sit up. This sucks.

ohmygosh, Vanessa! Are you sure you are OK? I feel last week on some ice in my church parking lot. My back/hips are still all jacked up. Take some ibuprofen and alternate between ice and heat every 20 mins. Feel better hon!

((hugs))

I'm alright I guess, I went to the ER, because I had to work, they did Xays and said nothing was broken. I fell on the stairs at work the first year we were here and my tailbone was fractured, that's what I was really worried about. They said I am going to be sore for a few days.

Ugh! I hope you are feeling better in a few days! I've fallen on ice twice this year, my tailbone STILL hurts (it' not broken, just bruised). I was told it could take months for it to feel better. Yuck!

well, I"m glad nothing's broken, but that doesn't keep it from hurting like hell, huh? Take it easy and get some rest.

Oh ouch! Did that a couple of years ago right after walking out of chiropractor's office...had to be helped up off the pavement (I can't get on my knees due to arthritis)...and had to go right back in for another adjustment...threw myself right back out of alignment.

Ow V, that really sucks! I usually do this once every winter, you'd think living in Canada for my entire life I wouldn't be so clumsy, but I am.

Feel better soon! lots of ice and meds!

Oh, hugs, I'm so sorry!!! Rest as much as you can to let your body heal.

Reason number 9 million why I live in Florida. I fall over nothing . . . don't give me ice to fall on . . .

UGH! Where are you all PCSing to? I don't remember seeing you post about a move!

I'm getting out. LOL! 10 years is enough for me, I'm going to stay home with the kids and use that new 9/11 GI BIll. There is a community college near where my husband is from in Michigan that has a photography course, so I think that's what I'm going to do.

I did 7.75 years so I can't blame you for wanting to get out (of course my military days were before kiddos)! I couldn't imagine being a mama and being active duty! How exciting, hope it all works out for you!!
