Kelly Bangs!

A couple weeks ago, I was at a paper scrapbooking event and learned Kelly was also attending. I was giddy and knew I had to find her and introduce myself. Not only am I a fan of her digital designs, but also her paper lines.

I am sure she thinks I am an idiot. lol.. I was so excited that I couldn't spot smiling and rambling. She was so sweet and gracious. She even posed for a photo with me.

I've been a member here at SSD for a long time and feel like our Designers are the very best. It was like meeting a celebrity to me.

I know y'all can appreciate and understand the excitement.

Thanks Kelly for being so kind and tolerating my fan moment. Love your creations!
 
That is awesome! It's so fun to meet digi friends in person! Especially someone you admire so much.

That is so fun, Melinda!!! I have loved meeting scrappers IRL. It's been a very long time since I've met one though! I met a YouTuber a couple years ago, and I was slightly giddy too, so I totally get it! :)
 
I just met a paper scrapper/small business owner whom I really admire (Tina from Social Paper Plan) last month and I was the same way! Lol, major fangirling. If someone was that excited to meet me I think I'd just be so flattered rather than thinking they were crazy! I'm sure that's how Kelly was with you! :)
 
How fun! There's plenty of designers AND scrappers I would be fangirling over if I ever got the chance to meet one myself!
 
Oh! What a fun fangirl moment!! I’m sure she didn’t think you were an idiot!!

One of the things I find so interesting about the digital scrapbooking world is how intimate it feels. Getting a designer’s comment on your instagram post feels like getting an autograph from Taylor Swift!
