I have the sweetest/bestest hubby in the whole world!!!

Just a little back story.....some of you know that I had a second brother killed in Feb 2010. He had 2 small children with his "girlfriend" (I use that word very loosely :D ) and after he was killed their mother turned into the worst nightmare you have ever seen. Well two months ago my parents got a call from her aunt....the mother up an left (5 children and a grandbaby) and my parents (who are 77 & 70) got temporary guardianship of twin 3 year old boys!

Well it's been an adjustment for them and me and my kids have gone over several times to help out...but it's still wasn't the same as being "alone"...so I told my parents we were taking the kids for a week for them and they could get some much needed R&R!!!

My hubby was obviously leery...we have 5 kids after all...but he know how much it would mean to my parents and me and he supported me...well this was his post to FB today:

Elizabeth, that is sooo awesome. You have such an amazing family, and what you are doing this week just proves it. Love your guts! :wub::wub::wub:
 
That is so sweet and eloquently put. Isn't it amazing how little things like this are HUGE things to us?? Yay for wonderful husbands!
 
Gosh, I don't even know you or your 'story' and that made me tear up!! So nice of you to help your folks out like that, and incredibly sweet of your husband to openly acknowledge the love he's witnessing.
