I have sprouts!!!!!!!

My MIL got me an aerogarden for christmas. I set it up on the 29th and I see sprouts already growing. This thing is freaking awesome. I planted a bunch of herb pods(parsely, cilantro, thyme, two types of basil and mint)! But this thing can also grow salad greens, tomatos and even strawberries! I'm so excited I just had to share!

My sister has had one of these for a few years. When she first got it, I was skeptical, thinking it was just another fad gift. But, she says it's awesome and she still gets tons of herbs from it!

I know. Maybe it will help me through the dark winter to have stuff growing in the house! Plus I just love cooking with fresh herbs!

So jealous! I totally wanted one of those. It's a little steep for anyone who would have bought for me this Christmas. I'm happy to hear it actually works! I would probably go nuts and want three of them at once so I wouldn't have to choose between herbs, greens, tomatoes.

We have one of those and they are awesome! Before long you will have herbs to cook with. The basil grows very fast. You will have to probably cut it down every day or every other day. At least we did. We finally took it down because everything was growing too fast and we couldn't keep up. I want to do the strawberries or something sometime.
