ok, that was harsh, but honestly what is up with it never loading?!?!

it's driving me up a flipping wall.

and another thing. who all has open galleries?

i usually upload to SSD (of course), DST, MSA and Oscraps (cause i always have issues with TDC not clearing cookies...that's another thing thats killing me!)

so who else can i upload to?

I can't upload there at all.. I just get a blank page and some weird address in the tool bar. I'm over it. I usually only go there to load ct layouts and I can't even do that today.

SBB is an open gallery as long as you don't link to designers outside of SBB but you can post with a list of credits :) just not outside links

oh in answer to your other question, Elemental Scraps is an open gallery. At least, they used to be, I assume they still are.

You can upload to Two Peas!
I had it with DST about 6 months ago. The only reason I go there is to upload it because it houses my "main" gallery.
I would love to find a photo hosting site that keeps my photos at 500x500 and has free unlimited hosting so that I could put my "main" gallery in my own album.
Anyone know of a site like that (and don't say photobucket because they always resize my layouts).

I am very frustrated with DST today. I can't even get to MSA to load my layouts from yesterday.

Mandy - What about Flickr?

Many, you know you can change the sizing thing on Photobucket? I used to get frustrated cause I wanted my ads to be 600px wide, but they'd knock it down. So, right under the upload box, there's a little thing to change the size. Now I often post my 600x1000 ads, and they never get resized. :)

I have my complete gallery at Flickr, because that's where my family go to. I love that it can serve as my back-up too and I can also resize and post to my blogs. Ive got a pro account which is $25 a year.

Is Pickleberry Pop open now? I think they're open for posting but not linking.

I still like to cruise the scrap forums at DST and post LOs (my main gallery is there), but I spend a lot less time there than I used to.

OMG I could have written that! TDC hates me too, and I used to always upload there.

me too - every time I try to view the forum it send my browser into a tizzy and I have to close all my tabs!

I just uploaded a LO to DST. My direct link to the gallery was not working but I went to gallery via forum and got in!

I've gotten lazy. Now I generally only upload to sites where I participate in the community.
eta: or if the layout uses product from the site.
Occasionally if I feel ambitious I upload to 2ps.

Mandy, SmugMug has unlimited bandwith but it is a pay site. I am liking it a lot for backing up my photos and layouts. Also (in the spirit of overkill) have a web hosting account for my blog and set up a gallery there too. I was inspired by Lynnette's (nettio) site.

I was going to suggest Gotta Pixel, but I see someone else beat me to it. :) Hit enter too soon ... DST is just too overwhelming for me. I visit there to put my CT layouts up as required, but that is about it. The politics area is interesting to read, but I will not post in it. I try to stay out of the heated stuff. lol.

Mimi, we're like two peas in a pod. :)

I feel tacky posting to a store's gallery if I haven't used anything from that store. Maybe I just haven't adjusted to all of these open galleries at stores, but if I'm not a part of the community and I'm not using a store's products, I don't post there, open or not. And I do occasionally still post at 2 Peas. I'm finally over being bitter at them, lol.

I'm just curious if those of you who post all over the place also leave love at the places you post.

tbh, the only reason I still even try to post at dst is.. because some of my CT's require it, and because that is my "comprehensive" gallery. I post at MSA again because it is required by my ct's. I don't post anywhere else. :)

Aww, thanks Mimi. My poor neglected gallery. :D Yours looks great though!

And Kellie, I feel the same way. I don't like posting at other sites when I'm not active there even when I'm doing it for a CT at that store. It just feels weird to me.
