I keep all of my photos and finished scrap layouts (flattened jpgs) on my laptop. Then I back them up on my EHD that also houses my non-current scrap stuff. Then I copy them from the EHD to the family room desktop cause it has a huge hard drive on it. Then I have Mozy do auto backups on that machine.

Seriously.....do I need them in 4 places? I have issues. My EHD is full so I may have to kill the photos on it and only have them on my laptop, the desktop and mozy. That's fine right? I need to let go.....*or* buy another EHD.
 
Lol you sound like me. Why don't you up the photos on CDs or SD cards or something like that?

they have pretty good deals on electronics and all kinds of stuff. Some of it is factory refurbished and comes with warrenties too.
 
I only have mine on EHD and on a thumb drive. Pics and layouts that is. Kits are only on EHD and select few fav's on desktop too...um like all my SSD kits! :p

Anywho....I say if you have the space to keep it in 4 places then why not? However, if you are like me....I just can't afford another EHD right now so I limit how much "additional" backing up I do.
 
I back up to EHD and Mozy and that's it. I used to back up to disc, but it got to be so much work each month. I figure 2 places is enough, especially with Mozy in the equation.

I say 4 is overkill... but do whatever helps you sleep at night! :p
 
I'm going to suck it up and delete them from the EHD.....I know my dh will think I'm nuts if I want another EHD right now!
