I hate you Mommy!

My oldest child has been in a kick of saying he "hates" something, so I asked him what hate means. He couldn't tell me, so I told him that he shouldn't use words like that if he doesn't know what they mean ... that words can hurt, and hate is one of those words.

Julia says both I hate you and You aren't my best friend anymore ... it does hurt. I have come to grips with it being her way of expressing herself right now, that she doesn't have the right words ... my issue is that she shouldn't be talking to me that way, so she usually gets a time out until she can talk nicely to mommy (and sometimes she gets a NAP!). Hugs, Traci!

I get it from the twins all the time but ever since I actually cried one time they have really not done it too often lately!!!

((Hugs)) Today I got, "I'm glad I'm going to school so I can get away from you!" Let's hope tomorrow is a better mom/kid day for both of us.
