I hate the pressure

of scrapping big events. LOL!

I feel like those pages are never my favorites, because I draw a blank. I have Cooper's b-day, and our vacation to do. I don't want to dive into them yet.

Grab some of Janet's "2 Many Photos" double pagers.....they make scrapping those so much easier! I did a Disney BBQ one with them cause I had so many pictures and I love how it turned out!!...and you will feel great when it is done!! :)

Pressure? You feel pressure? Well, smack it in the face 'cause that's just not in line with what a crop should feel like! LOL!

Tell pressure you need a break since crops are supposed to be fun, fun, and more fun. :-)

Good luck!!!

Ugh, I feel your pain. I don't feel pressure, but I don't like scrapping them because there are SO many photos!!! It's just not as fun because I feel like it drags on forever!

I know what you mean.
I usually just start and slowly, step-by-step, get through the photos.
However, I think when YOU finally dive into your photos, they'll get scrapped in like what? Two days? LOL!

Birthdays and vacations are my 2 least favorite things to scrap, too. I'll get through the whole rest of the year, and the birthday and vacation "To scrap" folders will still be sitting there. There are just so many photos to deal with.

To date, I think I have yet to scrap a vacation pic! I have bought the kits for them and lord knows I have the templates, but no pics yet -
You know what would be cool - Like 8 or so picture heavy templates coordinated to scrap a vacation - Mini book idea - does anyone do this?

I'm with Cindy- pick some of your favorite multi-photo simple templates, and just make it about the photos and memories. Don't get wrapped up in making it about design and internet posting and such. You can then pick and choose, after you've been able to sort through them, a few specific photos to scrap into more detail if you want, all the journaling, etc. But don't allow the memory to get lost in the shuffle. I like Janet's templates for the reason that they really allow you to focus on the photos - not a lot of other things that might get in the way of putting a page together. They are perfect for event scrapping!

I can relate on this one! I have both of my girls' birthdays from January to tackle. I did weekly then monthly photos of my youngest during her first year and I have about 15 photos for a "Watch Me Grow" page, but I just can't get it done. Pics are edited, kit is chosen, but there it sits...unfinished. It's going to be a 2-pager, but I just have no motivation to tackle it. Ugh.

I hate it too. I avoid Christmas, birthdays, vacations and school programs like the plague. Actually, one of my items on my to-scrap list is to catch up on each of the kids' birthdays. So at least they have one big event per year scrapped and caught up. :p
