I HATE CANCER!!!!!!!

Cancer isn't fair is it...my grandfather is dying of lung cancer at the moment. He really doesn't look well and I don't think he'll make it. My mom says this won't be a very happy Christmas.

that is absolutely heart breaking .. one of the blows my grandmother was dealt was liver cancer.. It is an evil vile disease..

I totally feel your anger and pain. I lost my mom to cancer and so many other close friends and relatives. It's such horrible thing to see someone you care about, suffer from it whether it's affecting them physically or to someone close to them. I pray every day that the dreadful disease never affects me, my DH, or my children. I can only hope it doesn't. I will definitely keep your friend in my thoughts and prayers...

Oh, I'm so sorry, Jenny. My grandmother died of pancreatic cancer when I was a child, and it was horrible. My heart goes out to anyone struck by it. They've made progress in a lot of areas since then, but pancreatic cancer remains as terrible and untreatable as when my grandmother had it, and is such an unfair fate for anyone.

yes, cancer SUCKS! I have a photography client (single mom with FOUR kids -- triplets and an older girl) who lost her Mom (who was so involved in helping with those kids) to pancreatic cancer over a year ago. A few months after her mom died, her father was diagnosed with pancreatic cancer. That is just so horribly unfair. Sorry to hear about your friends!

I'm so sorry you are all going through this, especially that young girl, who has been through so much already at such a young age. Cancer is an awful awful disease and you have every right to be angry! My thoughts are with the family.
