Fremont, Wisconsin - The White Bass Captial of the World...

I am now only 25 min or so from my hometown...

Im from Staffordshire in the UK (which is near enough in the middle of the country) always lived here I moved 10 minutes away from the house I grew up in when I moved out

Horseshoe Beach, Florida, AKA BFE on the gulf coast side, the Arm pit of Florida is how DH refers to it. ;) 18 years

I've lived in San Antonio, TX (basic training, so I didn't really see anything while there) June-Aug 1999
Sierra Vista, Az- 6 months of training Aug 1999-Feb 2000
Pensacola, FL 6 months of training Feb 2000-July 2000
Misawa, Japan 3 years August 2000-August 2003
Beale AFB, Ca 2 years, 8 months (Marysville, CA area, close to Traci too) August 2003-April 2006
Anchorage, Alaska 3 years, 2 months April 2006-June 2009
now Michigan, been here for 3 years, 7 months and counting. The longest I've lived anywhere since I left for the Air Force, but I've been here since I got out of the service. DH is from here.

I was born and raised in Joplin, Missouri and my mom and sisters still live there so I still visit and consider that my hometown. I've lived in Arizona, Phoenix-area, since I graduated from college.

Born in Fort Worth, TX. Lived in Kansas City,MO and Farmington, MO during grade school. In 7th grade moved to Moore, OK. Finished school and even went to college in Moore. Married an okie so I have stayed in Oklahoma (Midwest City and Norman. LOVE Norman, hated MWC).

This might explain my eagerness to travel. Don't feel like I have gone too far. LOL

I grew up in Arizona. We moved around some but mostly lived in the Phoenix, Mesa and Apache Junction area.

I live in Kansas now, southeast corner. I have lived here for almost 21 years now so I've been here longer than I was 'home'. Arizona will always be home, but I'd miss this place like crazy if we moved.

I live an hour away from my hometown. Hubby is more than half the country away from his.

I live about 11 miles from my childhood home and hometown. At the very top of California, about 30 miles from the Oregon border.

I was born in Rochester NY. I only lived there for 9 months. Then my family spent 5 years in L.A. Then we went back to my parents home: Seattle Washington. I lived in Seattle from age 5-34. Then in Portland Oregon until 2 years ago.

Now I'm a Californian! Love living in the Sierra Nevada!

I was born and raised here. (central Mississippi) I grew up about 10 miles from where we live now.

I moved away from home to a suburb of Jackson after college for a couple of years. I met DH there and then he was transferred to North MS after we were married and we lived there about 5 years. Then in 2007 he was transferred here and I told him once he moved me to my hometown that we were staying put lol

Upstate New York, just south of Buffalo... born-6 years old.
South Florida, Palm Beach County... 1986-present

I really do love this place, but I definitely love a change of scenery... palm trees and balmy breeze can actually get boring. Going up to New York to visit my extended family is always the highlight of my year.

You know my story I guess. I was born in Bratislava, Slovakia. I never wanted to leave, ever. Then life played a game with me and I went to Luxembourg for one year. And stayed. :-)

Born in Roswell, New Mexico in 1976. Lived there until 1979 sometime when my mom took all us kids to Florida. I lived in Orlando for the most part since that time but various parts of Orlando. Currently I live about 20-25 miles east of Orlando. So for the most part I consider Florida to be my home. It is all I know as I have no memories of Roswell, New Mexico.

currently near frankfurt/main in germany. i lived in 3 towns in northern germany for 20 years, in southern germany (around nuremberg) about 8 years and now for 12 years here around frankfurt. i have never been away from the continent but moved all over germany instead.

I was born in Cambridge, MA and, since then, have lived in four different cities...all within the same 5 - 10 mile radius.

hehehehe I first thought you meant in your hair. I was thinking, I do too! I need to dye mine again!

I was born in Galveston, Tx. We moved to Detroit, then Kentucky, then Kansas City. I spent most of my youth there. When I joined I moved to middle of Missouri, then to Mexico border aka El Paso, then back to KC when I got out. Then the Army has moved us to Mexico border, South Korea, and now middle of nowhere OKlahoma with my husband. I've moved 13 times so far. :) We will probably be here till at least this time next year.

I was born in Bountiful, Utah. But, we moved to the next town over when I was only two. I like to say that I was "born and raised" in Centerville, but it's not really true. We moved there when I was two, moved to the Philippines when I was 5, moved back to Centerville (same house) when I was 9, and my parents are still there. I moved back to Centerville after college until I got married, and when we came back to Utah after five years in Tucson, AZ, we lived in my parents house while our home was being built. So, I spent A LOT of years in Centerville, and I consider it "home." We live about 10 miles north now, in Kaysville. But, my dream is to get back to Centerville some day . . . not sure that will ever actually happen.

How was that for a long answer to a simple question? :p

Oh my, well, I was born in Bangor, Maine and lived from birth until I graduated high school in a town 7 miles right outside of Bangor. I now live 4 miles outside of Bangor but on the other side of the river in another small town.

But in between graduating from high school and coming back to my hometown area I have lived in numerous places. I won't give dates because honestly I'd have to really think about them :D

I've lived in:
Farmington, ME (first couple years of college)

The rest of the places I lived were all Marine Corps moves:
Georgia
South Carolina (more than once)
Virginia (more than once)
California (more than once)
Hawaii
Okinawa, Japan

I was born and raised in Sierra Vista, AZ (well, we really lived in Huachuca City until I was 4).

Then I went to college met my hubby and got married in Tucson, AZ. I was there for 5 years.

After graduation and 7 months pregnant we moved across the country to New Hampshire. We lived in an apartment our first year and then bought our house. We've been here 3.5 years now and love it. We just need to convince our families to love it because as much as I miss the people of AZ and the desert rain and sunsets and Mexican food, I don't know that I could live without seasons now that I know what they are.

I have lived in a number of cities in North Dakota. You all know where the news talks about that big oil rush in ND? Yeah, I mostly grew up right there smack in the middle of that area. I moved to Fargo for college and stuck around. I have spent quite a bit of time in San Antonio, TX for the Air Force, but otherwise, all my life in ND.

outside of boston, massachusetts. my parents moved away from my hometown, and now live 15 minutes away, on the border of salem, new hampshire.
i lived there all my life, until i moved to buffalo, new york. which i hate and can't wait to get out of (seriously. i hate buffalo. it's useless and the people here suck.. in my opinion).

From Nappanee, IN. Nope, I do not live there now. I'm a whoppin' 20 minutes away. LOL

I now live in Kristin's home town of Nappanee and it is a beautiful little community. We have been here for over 6 years now, but I was born and raised in Erie, Pa where I lived until I was married. Moved to Page, AZ but after John's death went back home to Erie. I loved Arizona, happy times, and I miss Erie sometimes, but not during the winter. :)

Bwahahaha. You lived in Normal. You? Normal? :p

The short answer: "Home" is a little town in Connecticut (and by little, I mean 35,000 people). But I've spent the last 16 years in Virginia (near DC so DH can commute into the city).

The long answer:
I was born outside Boston and spend my first few years there and in New York, on Long Island. When I was 5 we moved to the town in Connecticut that I consider my hometown. My parents are still there, lots of my extended family is nearby, and my brother and sister are an hour away in Manhattan.

I left my hometown for a college right outside Boston for 4 years, met DH there, and followed him to Virginia after we graduated since he had a job lined up in DC. The plan was to be here 3 years then go back to the Boston area...16 years later we're still in Virginia. I like it, but I hate being so far from my family. DH's job is the kind he can only do here, though, so we're never leaving. We're about 6 hours from my family now.

I grew up in Austin, TX and except for 6 months when we moved down to my great-grandmothers house about 1.5 hrs away while our house was being built- i have been here all my life.

I was born and raised in Southern California. In my 20's I lived in Wellsley MA, Martha's Vineyard and NYC as a live in Nanny. Eventually moved back to Orange County and I don't think I ever want to leave again. I live about 20 miles from where I grew up.
