I Got To...

Yesterday I put on jeans for the first time in 4 weeks and they didn't fit, they were falling off...seriously, I could pull them right off without undoing them. And they were my smallest (and favorite) pair! I can't wear a belt quite yet because of where my incisions are, so I was always pulling them up - SO annoying! So, while we were in the city last night, DH let me stop at a couple stores and get some new clothes - I got a new pair of jeans (a 32!! I haven't been this size in YEARS), and a couple of tops (both in a size L, compared to my regular XL). Then I did a little bit more shopping on AE online, lol...got another pair of jeans and a couple more tops.

So, while not a recommended weight loss system, being sick DOES have it's advantages, lol. I thought I was 185 when I went into the hospital, but there's no way that can be right, since I'm weighing 178 right now and have lost a full size - all of my clothes are just WAY too big!

I love shopping when clothes I try on actually fit, lol...

I don't envy you the method, but it must be so much fun to go shop for smaller sizes!

My 3rd baby is 5 months old now, and I'm finally giving in and admitting I need some bigger shirts since who knows when I'll be back to my pre-pregnancy shape. It's not even the weight so much as the body shape. Grrr...I didn't expect this time to be so much different from the first 2.

Woooohoooo!!! I knew you'd lost quite a bit because I could see it in your face! Thats awesome that you are down to a 32" (although, I agree... not the best way about getting there, lol).

Yay for fun shopping sprees!!

While I'm not glad you were so sick congrats on the weight loss Bree! I think I'll stick with the conventional method tho! ;)
