I got to meet my puppy today!

The Ghost of Awesome Past
So, the adventure to puppy ownership took a few turns! You might remember that I was wanting to get a girl puppy, then the litter was born and they were ALL boys. So I considered getting one of the boys but ended up deciding to keep looking. I found another litter of puppies and she had 2 available girls! Today we drove the 4 hours each way to meet our little princess. I'm sooo in love! I don't know which of these 2 girls we'll be getting, but one of these sweeties will be joining my family in late May. Here is Logan with both girls and then each girl separately. I can't wait to have her home!!! I feel like I'm having a baby, I'm seriously soo excited about this!

In person their eyes aren't cloudy at all. Is there a dog-eye fix in photoshop?

no dog fix in photoshop, but you can copy and paste the same area w/ a blending of color burn or something dark like that and it will help.

Adorable! What breed is she? Some kind of husky? I drove 4 hours to pick up my Scottie. Only 2 good breeders in Mi. She peed on me during the drive home because I didn't want to put her in her crate.

Ahh, good times, good times.

They are both really sweet...I think I like the one that looks like in the photo her nose is more black. :) Have fun choosing your doggie.

So cute and fluffy! I just want to cuddle and snuggle and pet them. *sigh* I am having major puppy fever over here and this is NOT helping! LOL

She is an American Eskimo dog. I wasn't thrilled with the drive, but like you, there are only a few breeders in the area. I'm lucky my breeder is such a sweetheart and if things work out, she might even drive my puppy down to me in May!

Oh they are so cute - I'm in puppy love

I would choose the one who hangs back and is quiet and shy - we didn't exactly choose Haggis when we went he chose us as he literally leapt out of the breeders arms and he's been leaping and jumping all this time!

Whichever one you bring home with you is going to be so loved xx

I've read the Dog Whisperers puppy book, and he talks a lot about that so I told the breeder that I wanted the more mellow one. Right now since they are only 4 weeks old, their personalities haven't really come out yet. But as they get older, the breeder will let us know which one seems to be a better fit for us. The family that is getting the other girl already has Eskie experience, so they are fine with a more spirited puppy. I'm just so excited to be getting my little girl!

They are both adorable! Have you got a name picked out yet? All of my dogs are rescue dogs, I live in puppy mill central, and came to me under bad circumstances, so I love to see people who are excited to have a dog, can give it a good home and will love it with all their hearts. :)

I'm glad you waited for what you wanted! They are both beautiful and lucky to be going to such a loving home and momma!
