I got THE BEST surprise last night!

Sorry if this is a repeat from facebook :)

About 8 pm last night someone knocked on the door which freaked me out b/c no one ever knocks on my door that late. I opened it and found my husband standing there!! He is home a whole month early and never told me that was happening! Talk about surprised and relieved! I just thank God for bringing him through another deployment safe and sound and hopefully this is the last one! The kids were so so excited to see him. We are a happy happy group this morning :wub:

Oh my gosh. What a great surprise! I'm sure that was incredibly hard secret for him to keep... I once came home early from college to surprise my parents and I barely pulled that off. lol.
 
Holy cow I can only imagine how shocked you must have been. What a great day for you, I'm thrilled for your family.
 
That is just so cool that you didn't have to worry every step along the way about his journey home. Now he is home in time for ALL the holidays! :)

Brave of you to open the door that time of night. Not sure I would have done that! ;) (did you have your gun? LOL)
 
It was really funny..b/c I was like "who is it?!" and he said, "it's me baby open the door" and I was so confused and like didn't really understand what was going on and I said, "shut up..you better not be messing with me or I'll kill you"..It took him a few minutes to get me to open it for him lol

He really got me b/c I had NO IDEA he was coming home early. He has to go back down to Camp Shelby on Monday for a day or two to finish his de-mob but after that he's home for good and even has a month of leave to be here every day before he goes back to work :)
 
YAY YAY YAY!!!! That's so awesome and so sweet and SQUEEEE!!!! I'm literally jumping up and down!!!! and praise God for his safety and that he's home with you and the kids again!!! :wub: :wub: :wub:
 
When I saw this on Facebook this morning, it totally made me cry and it totally made my day!! So happy for you and your sweet family!! :wub:
 
What a wonderful surprise and a big relief for you all! So happy he is home and safe. I know you all must be walking on cloud nine. :)
