I got a job!

Part of the consequence of this separation is that I need to get part-time work. I've been anxious about it because I haven't had a real job since Johnny was a baby (I've cleaned houses and delivered newspapers and stuff, but not a 'normal' job). So I went to my favorite grocery store, where I also know a cashier and got hired, wait for it... for the bakery dept.

THE BAKERY, GIRLS!

Omg, this is the best ever. I get a 10% discount on store brand groceries AND 22% discount on my Sprint bill.

I'm so proud of myself :thumbup:

I was coming over to report, lol! First day was loooong but not bad at all. I left with my head swimming, BUT I got to frost cupcakes and bake a gazillion cookies. I took a 24 carton of the cupcakes I frosted to my girlfriend's house afterwards and 2 more of my friends came and we played cards and celebrated. I'm making an effort of plugging into my support system right now, because my instinct is to hole myself up at home and hide. It was a great night.
