I FINALLY found my copy of Breaking Dawn!!!

After looking for it in 2 or 3 places, I finally found it at Meijer! It was cheaper at Target ($14) but they were out. It was $17.99 at Meijer. oh well. But it was like searching for the Holy Grail, lol. I would see signs that it did indeed exist, but the shelves were empty, taunting me. Then when i found a copy it was like lights shining down from heaven on them, lol. "Hallelujah!" lmao. It's sitting on my lap now. I haven't even opened it yet. Cause I know if I do I won't get anything else done!! :p

My pre-ordered copy didn't show up in the mail today either (it was supposed to be here Saturday) and the tracking info shows it's in Alanta. I'm really glad now that I kept my name on the hold list @ the library and was able to get my copy there Saturday since it still hasn't shown up! Guess I won't be pre-ordering anything from Walmart.com ever again! I finished the book up last night - it was SO good!!
 
I ran in the grocery store Saturday for a pie crust and they had about 50 of them stacked up in middle of the isle. I got it for $13 and change. I was happy because I thought I'd have to go to Barnes & Noble and pay full price.:thumbup:
 
I'm hoping to get mine today!!!--can't wait, I'm hoping the negative reviews at Amazon were only a few disgruntled fans.....in the mean time started reading her "adult" novel the Host. It was a slow start, but it's getting better!
 
Oh I couldn't wait, and since my copy is on the way (and I pay for it) I felt no guilt on downnload one of those free spoiler that are hanguing around the web.

I hated it.
Well, hate is a really intense word. I was just so disappointed in most of it. I still love the first 3 books though!!!
 
I'm on page 612... I still resent the lack of s*e*x scenes.
I think the book is good, but to be honest is not the best of the collection
 
I am STILL waiting for it to ship! I sent Amazon.co.uk a not so nice letter yesterday asking what the point of pre ordering was if they were not going to ship the darn thing when it was released..
 
uggg I'm going crazy.. my dd is reading it first! She will be reading in the car and then she'll gasp or chuckle or say something.. I have to remind her.. DON'T spoil it for me.. I get it next!

I think she has about 100 pages left but she's leaving for Girl Scout camp tomorrow for 10 days!!! dang kid! :) now i have to wait some more! Hmm it's a 3 hour drive.. think she can finish ??

her: why mom?
me: so I can the book.. now read
 
If you thought finding that was hard, try finding volume 3 :blink: ! I know I'm going to need it soon, as i'm going thru volume 2 FAST.
