I finally bought it!

I have been toying with getting the Log Your Memory book for awhile, especially since so many people are fans of it... but I just hadn't made the leap. What if I bought it and didn't stick with it, etc etc etc...

Finally, today, I noticed a few extra dollars in my budget, and I decided to buy it. I bought the June through July, because if I *don't* stick with it, then I didn't spend $25... and if I DO stick with it, I can always buy the second half of the year closer to the second half of the year, when hopefully I have a bit more money in my budget. Lol.

Anyway, I finally made the leap, and looking through it, I think that it is going to be something I can stick with. I hope. I need it. Haha!

That is awesome!!! Congrats!!

I love my book... and refer to it daily to jot things down and of course to be inspired!! Can't wait to see your layouts in the weekly threads over there!

I really need to order mine. I bought the d/l last year and really liked it, but didn't use it nearly enough because I'd forget to print the pages and it was awkward to carry a 3ing binder around with me. I'm going to buy one of the print versions this year in the smaller size and hopefully will use it a LOT more than I did last year :)

I get confused looking at all the different products over there... what did you end up buying?

I LOVE LOVE LOVE Log Your Memory! So glad you are jumping in with it. There are some great prompts and challenges for everyday, REAL life. It is so nice to have all of my scrapbook thoughts organized in one place. The book for next year is better than ever, and the community there is a great support too. Congrats on your book...everyone go get one! They are such great scrapping inspiration! :)

Aly, is this the one I should get? I don't want to be printing a bunch of stuff off.

If you don't want to print your own, then yes, that's the one you want. If you want a smaller size (that's what I would want, if I was carrying it around), then go with that one, but if you want something larger, with larger print, then go with the larger size...

That's what you want, though. It will contain your full year of calendar and prompts. Before you buy it, you can always look at the sample pages in the image to make sure it's something you'd use! From what I hear, it's SUPER helpful.

Just jumping in to say how much I love my logbook as well. It has been a great resource for me this year, and I'm super excited to start using next year's.

Val - the one you're looking at there is the perfect bound book and it's the full year. If that's what you want then that's the one you should get. It is offered in half year versions as well as coil bound versions. Personally I like the coil bound cause I can have it open flat on my desk. And, I like the half year version too, just to keep the size down a bit. But, it's all personal preference.

If anyone else is interested in getting one, I have a referral link in my siggy (the Logbook Contributor blinkie is linked). I'd love to get your referrals if you purchase. :)

Darn it!!! I wish that I had seen this before I bought one. I usually look at people's signatures and I've not seen that in yours :( :( I'm sorry!

No worries! I don't want to be pushy about it, but since we were having the discussion . . . :)

I will totally use you as a referal!

Thanks Val! I'm only seeing the coil-bound in the half-year version. I thought the full year was available coil bound too, but you're right, it's not there. But, if you click on the half-year print version, those are coil-bound.

Yeah, I found a combo pack that has 2 half-year sets, I guess that's because the coil-bound can't be more than 450 pages. I think I might start with the Jan through June. This will be so fun!

I have the DL version for 2011 -- I can't wait to start using it! Did you see the LYM blog today? She shows how's she doing her 2011 log. That binder is swoon-worthy! Gorgeous!

OOHHH.... now I need to purchase the download version AND get one of those binders!! I have the perfect bound which works well for me... but that one could be just around the house where the cute binder could be my on-the go!! Thanks for enabling, Heddy!! ;)

I didn't even know about this. But I had a credit in the store there from having some layouts published, so I bought the download version. I'm excited to check it out!

AND, today, for Cyber Monday, there's a SALE. So click on the link in my siggy, and go grab one now! :)

I bought mine, but can't decide between the letter sized or the smaller sized... I keep going back and forth...

Also if you are following the Log Book Blog Tour there is a 15% off coupon for the year long download only version good today and tomorrow only!!!! Making it only $21.21!!!

Does anyone have one that I could look at closer? I'm finding that the previews on their site are not very good (it could just be me today though).

I'm trying to decide if it's something I would use. Do you just use it for recording moments/thoughts that you don't want to forget??

Enlighten me.

This is my first time buying it and I haven't looked completely through it but to me it's like a planner/calendar geared towards scrappers. It's to help you record more and plan more so you can get the most from your memories and get them scrapped!!!

I'm sure one of the other girls will give you a better explanation!!!

Did you look at it w/ the full-screen preview? I could see it better when I made it full-screen.

I found a coil bound full year - it's in the custom made ones. I'm not sure about the 10.00 set up fee though.

I just found out about this product and I'm curious, because I really want to do better this year than I did last year about keeping track of things and being purposeful, and I'm trying to stay off the computer during the day so it'd be awesome to have a place to keep track of stuff.

However, I have purchased my planner for the year (a BusyBody planner) and I'm wondering if this would be redundant with that? I will use that for scheduling, planning (personal and homeschool). But I love the idea of something that would really encourage me to focus on personal journaling... so does anyone use this for that purpose ONLY and not as a planner?

Thanks! :)
