I feel so old.

and I'm not, really...but we just got back from the release party and...well we had those girls by 10 or 15 years....a few people were closer to our age, but they had their tween/teen children there with them. Sigh.

I will tell you all about the party though, with pictures, tomorrow. Now I have to go to bed b/c the children will be up in a few hours.

They gave out flair and stickers and Tabatha even won a door prize...a CD of some sort...there were about 150 people at this party so not too big. And they were all very young.

And I do have some priceless photos. ;)

We had 10 years on everyone too, but they all swooned at the sight of patrick in an alice tee lol

One of the dads thought one of the teenaged girls was my daughter. I felt so completely old at that moment. >.<

I've never been mistaken for the mother of a teenager before (even though my grandmother was my age when I was born)

Yeah...
all the tweens were screaming their heads off when the book was released at midnight... it was like being at Justin Timberlake concert. ugh.

LOL so glad I wasn't there - I have no tolerance for screaming teenie boppers LOL - now that says I'm getting old, esp. when it was completely normal to have a house full of kids running around playing.

I am kinda glad my daughter has not read these books yet. She went to all the release parties for Harry Potter and they were CRAZY!! She would usually drag me with her too and at our local BnN it was mostly teens and tweens also and not even room to walk. The last one they shut the doors at 600 I believe.
